In this case the guilty is who does not take precautions … If the seller does not takes precautions the buyer should take. For this reason I’ve banned BG.
O-L says the lights are being shipped anyway. So it would appear that the OPen issue is working itself out. 
We’ll see, I guess. I had to sign up with GB to make that purchase. If it goes through, then perhaps I’ll be buying other things from them as well. If it doesn’t, well….
As an aside, a friend of mine ordered this Courui D01 from this buy and had it sent to me to fix up for him. So we’ll see too if that one goes out in a timely manner.

This is the reflector of my light (tried to clean, got worse):
One of GB offers: “We will resend you a new one and you need to pay us half amount of the items to cover the compensation.”
I don’t want to pay any extra money, so I asked for a half-price refund via in-store credit.
I don't understand... The Gray one is now listed at $31.04 on a timed special here, only $1.05 more than the Group Buy price? the gbcourui code still does not work on gray.... Seems like you can order the gray one now for just a buck more, so maybe this is it? Maybe this is the deal they will have for the gray version? Seems silly to just save $1 to wait for the GB offer.
Sounds like DX's trick of putting an item on sale just to find out it's out of stock, backordered, and get refunded!

I stumbled across the exact same page yesterday while looking for information on UV emitters, thought it was quite a conicidence with this special price going on here. I got to it by clicking a link on a dealers page, but don’t know where.
What defects did it have before you tried to clean it?
It think that details in the Gray version (price, etc.) in their website is an erroneous posting since the gray is still not available as late as yesterday and that is the reason that no coupon code has been given until now.

I was away the whole to go to my hometown to visit my departed parents and brother so didn’t have time to check on the gray status and coupon, although I just checked Dora’s skype message and she says it’s already arrived but she’s already out of her office.
I'm confused. Are you all saying we can order the gray one without using the gb coupon, BUT we can't order it using the coupon? That doesn't make sense! Perhaps Nitecorn95's Nitebird95's order will show "backorder" status?

Issues about the reflector are not good…
I’m not really 100% sure what I’m looking at. Are you indicating the small area at the edge (eg you tried to clean it and the area at the edge became worse)?
Did it look to you like it’s foggy and swirled from someone at the factory attempting to clean it?
You may see I tried to wipe it clean verticaly (divide the picture in 3 parts, the middle part has a different pattern). Look at the edge and the middle of the picture. There are 3 bronze spots. I didn’t noticed them before I tried to clean it, so I think it’s my fault.
It’s hard to tell what happened to the reflector in the factory, maybe polish or something like that.
Great news, my Courui Bu_ck driver is up and running! The initial idea for the series conversion using only the driver PCB didn’t work out so I made a secondary board that sandwiches between the driver and cells (floats there) to be the series conversion plate then makes contact with points on the driver.
I went with PIC (cause it’s what I wanted, gotta keep myself interested) so I know that means most people won’t be able to DIY. In the next couple weeks after some extensive testin I will get a thread up on the driver as well as my price to do the conversion to your light. The 2 boards alone are $36 (for 2 set’s of three, $13 total per light) so it won’t be cheap but I believe once you guy’s see it running you’ll feel it’s worth the price. I’ve ran it all the way up to 8.2A and as low as 4A with a single reaistor swap.
So far seems to be running very stable.
