A factory dedome was bound to happen sooner or later. Too bad I couldnt get Acebeam to attempt it a few months ago.

I’ve only got a handful of reviews under my belt but I have a new blog im trying to get more stuff posted on and on top of that, this particular format (1×18650 thrower) is my personal favorite, I have many conpariable lights in the class to put it up against. Please consider me for a review.

Sent you a note. I have a large number of lights in this class i could to a review and comparison to, including a jacobs A60, a dedomed C8, stock C8, and other single 18650 / XM-L lights.

That took long for the manufacturers to pick up!

BTW, the various dedoming techniques are not 'BLF-originals', but Tom's dedoming thread did very thoroughly sort out for the first time which techniques are good and no good.

Wonder if they are using the protective coating over the dedomed emitter, or left it bare

I asked Olight if it possible to take an SR 95S UT Head

dedomed XM-L2
5A driver
and a 3 18650 battery carrier
and fit it together.

If so what's the life span. Some of you guys are crazy

A doomed LED should die quicker than one that is not doomed…

Sorry, I couldn’t help myself… Can’t help about life span with dome or no dome though.

I want to know how they are getting it sooo clean!
