GB for the "discontinued" Olight O'pen

Mine has shown shipped out since 10/29. but seems to still be stuck in processing.

Looks like Netherlands post has received the info on mine but has not yet actually received the package. Not worried yet but keeping my fingers crossed.

They got back to me. I stated that my order has been stuck in processing for 12 days and that if they can no longer fulfill the red, then blue would be satisfactory.
They answered that they have switched the color to blue and not to worry, it will be shipped soon.

I answered that I was annoyed that I know it was in stock when I ordered it and since it was stuck in processing, they have now run out of the red. Not a big deal on my end, maybe they were already out of red. I never got anything from them staying it was backordered. I would have changed the color sooner.

Don’t look at Invoice prices.
They never show the “Deal Price” except when actually ordering.
It was the same way with the GB GB AAA stainless light.

As far as I was told, what has been ordered had shipped, except for out of stock, (including a couple of orders where other things were ordered too and not in stock), so just send them an e-mail or contact customer service about that. As far as the red, I imagine people not on the list probably ordered red right away. Not good, but probably happened. Also, you can leave a notation with your order about the price disclosed for customs, if you need a lower price claimed. I know, a little late now.

46 lights were sold so far, so short of the mark. They still have brown and blue.

I have an NL tracking #, but it hasn’t started working yet.

My tracking number just started working in the USPS tracking system after being sent to me with a shipping notice on Oct 29th, so over two weeks apparently to get to the Netherlands post office via whatever courier service they used.

I just got my shipping notice. Looks like changing the color did the trick.

I got my red pen in the mail yesterday :-)

Received my o’pen. Declared value was 19.98$. Don’t know if it’s a random number or what it would costs without shipping but for me it was at least a safe value.

Really like it. Bright enough, nice feel, good quality what I expect from olight.

I received my O’pen too.

Glad to hear things are arriving. In 3 days it will be a month since mine was supposedly shipped and I have not had any other China order take this long. My first GearBest order too.

I am beginning to worry. No update to 17track since 11/14 (14/11 for Europeans) when Netherlands post supposedly shipped it to the destination country. USPS reports “Not Found” per 17Track and using the tracking number on the USPS tracking site gives a orange “ALERT” message and a additional message which reads “USPS Tracking™ is unavailable for this product for NETHERLANDS”.

This is the first time I have seen the USPS give this orange alert warning format rather than simply state that the number is not in their system or give tracking information.

At least I got this tracking today.

Sorry - I got my 2 lights earlier this week (a red and a blue).

My wife “liked” (not loved) the red one, which is unusual (she thinks that my fascination with lights is “silly” :laughing:… she actually is carrying it in her purse now :)…

Rich, if you haven’t had any orders take a month before then you’re lucky. 6-8 weeks has been the norm for most(fast tech and EE X6 being notable exceptions). I hope you get it soon though. This is a nice looking light but at ~$30 was just a bit too pricey for me. I am not a collector! I’m a modder, really!

Almost all of my orders have been from FastTech so maybe I have been spoiled.

Ordered on 10/27, received 11/24. It’s a nice pen light that I’m quite satisfied with. The switch is a bit stiff but on the plus side, that will reduce the likelihood of accidental pocket activation. Thanks Old-Lumens for putting this GB together.

I have a question. There’s mention of some kind of lock out, pointing to the area around the switch. I thought you might be able to twist the end to lock out the button, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

So what is the “lock out function” that their talking about? It’d be nice to have that to prevent the light from coming on accidentally in her purse.

EDIT: I figured out what they meant about the lockout. The threads are anodized, so you can lock out the light by loosening the part of the body that has the button to lock out the light.
