Got mine today ... that was fast...very fast .

i had a bunch in my cart and mistakenly hit the refresh and lost them all. i went back and there were only three left ...Chibi M was right the phone number issue was i was putting the - in the phone number and ---'s were messing up and causing an error ..Crazy site but crazy cheap price ,crazy great light

A question for the guys that have receved the light: are you old client of Aurabuy? Because for me that I’m not, the flashlight will arrive with standard shipping, the slowest. I’m just guessing…

Plastic reflector of decent, albeit not perfect quality.
Still need to grind off the plating on bottom edges if changing emitter star, ask me how I know :slight_smile:

Never bought anything before from Aurabuy. I placed two orders for A60s. First one was credit card and got it Fedex express. Second order was placed on PayPal and has not been received. Both showed that they were shipped the same day. Will post when the second order arrives. Both were free shipping.

Typical free shipping from China runs 2 weeks to 10 weeks for me.

Second order showed up. Came first class mail from California. The A60 was in good shape. Came with another new DD4.COM mailer bag folded neatly in the box.

The Jacob A60 is here!
It took 24 days from the order to shipping/italian custom/my home. Not so bad anyway.

The flashlight is very small (I’ve thinked it was bigger), it is very nice and I like so much!
The only problem is with the tailcap modes; the flashlight start “High” and if you half press may time, you will find Low e Blinkys modes. Maaaany times. No problem, for 4euros shipped for me this is the deal of year!!

Thanks for asking. I think Jacob A60 is out of stock permanently in AuraBuy store on DD4.com. DD4 doesn’t purchase products itself. There are sellers who build up a store on DD4.com and sell. That’s how DD4 works. Sorry that there is no seller selling Jacob A60 for now. I don’t know when it will either.

I looked at the dd website today, they show the Jacob A60 for sale:

(hard to tell if this is a good driver, apparently they can vary a lot.

Summer_DD4 says, DD4 is a front for “sellers who build up a store” whoever they may be.
I’m dubious.

Seems like DD4 also shares mailing list information with whoever these “sellers who build up a store”

I was actually on the site trying (unsuccessfully) to figure out how to get DD to quit sending me nonsense like this:

I’d recommend getting a free email address and using it only for registering at any online site like DD4, so if they share it and spamming starts, you can delete the address.

Can DD4 go shopping for us?
That is — ask suppliers you’re in contact with to read a “wish list” from people here?
They might know it’s available, or might decide it could be made profitably.
It’s like having free help from designers/engineers, to plan product that could be made well at a profit.

As an example, folks here like the Jacob A60 and would buy more good ones.
(But people here would recognize, and would not want, a bad copy — so we have to be careful who we ask!)
