Hi everyone,
I realized that there is probably also a considerable amount of interest in LED lanterns. For that reason, I just added another new sub-category in the Other LED Lights category:
http://budgetlightforum.com/forum/otherled/lanterns
This one is just for lanterns with LEDs. For all other lanterns or other light producing devices that don’t involve an LED, please use the Non-LED sub-category.

That’s great SB. But we really could do with a ‘reviews’ forum/sub forum. So many great reviews getting lost with time. Stickies do not really serve its purpose as even reviews that are outdated ie with no replies will remain at the top instead of reviews getting replies/interest. Sorry for putting this up there

Sure, that’s probably a good idea for categories that get a lot of reviews. Which categories are you thinking of?
I don’t know how you can fit the ‘review’ forum on the current layout.
1) A Review sub forum in all the flashlight related forums (1Xaa, multiple AA, 1xaaa, 18650 etc)
2) A review forum with all the differnent types of battery formats as subforums(AA/14500 Flashlight reviews, AAA/10440, Lithium Flashlights or whatever.
3) A review forum with no subforums.
I don’t know. Just some ideas off my head. Just to make the reviews centralised, visible and easily accessible. Of course, other members can put in their inputs if it is a good idea or not.
Thanks for the reply! This is the option I’m leaning toward. Not all the categories have many reviews, so I probably won’t create a subforum for all of them. But I do need to work on some additional review subforums.
It would be nice with some review categories, I do miss them in some of the categories I publish in: Chargers, primary batteries, "Gear for flashlight carriers"
