FS: LD-1 driver (5Amp pwm-less linear)-SOLD

The Tangsfire TS2010 is one of the nicer variants I've seen. Can't remember where I got it..oh yeah...Old_Lumens did a group buy on it a while back. :) Still can't remember where it came from exactly. But it's nice. :)

Edit: Why don't you try it in a Eagle Eye X6? Should be an easy swap and make that little light very impressive, especially if you de-dome an XP-G2 for it. :)

True, I found that a thrower with a Y3 style and one battery fits most in my Ak103
I ordered Ultrafire hd2010 and Tangsfire HD2010 ( pretty cheap), will see whitch one has a better reflector and finnish
Sure i will try it on X6! I have one ordinary x6, i will mod it eventyaly, but i am out of drivers, i put one on my c12, the other in the y3 that i sold already, will need 2-3 ld1 , maybe more in future, its hell of a nice driver

BLF x6 i will keep intact, i like it alot

Since i became an active member here, i bought like 15 flashlights  Good!, hehe

When is restock expected?

+1 I am interested in at least 1

I hope next week.

The package was processed through ISC Chicago on the 18th, so it should be in customs. I would bet two weeks to clear and arrive at it’s destination, but you never ever know for sure. Customs can be easy or hard and it’s now the dreaded “holiday season”.

So everybody, just hang in there, it will happen.

It’s nice if you give me a PM when you have new stock.
thank you

Waiting? What waiting, i got them in a day! Croa post rules!

Its hell of a nice driver, i am glad i have found that offer, Neven, can we just pay you, and when you got them you straight ship? Its not biggie, at least for me

P.S I got several direct drivers, modded some 17mm 7135 too , got the OSH BLF17DD from mountain, but they can compare to LD 1, it has ramp feature, warnings, temp protection, exellent wire wholes, great mosfet( it need a tiny Cu headsing on it) exellent features…great! Realy

I appreciate the thought from Mitko but I’m not sure I understand the comparison — has anyone done a side by side table for comparing these drivers?

I' m sure that someone who has used all those drivers himself has a pretty good idea how they compare, even without neat tables ;-) , I do understand that.

I would be interested in 5 drivers when you restock. Thanks

Is there any way to reduce cost of these with a large enough group order and what would the number be? Love the driver idea, but it almost doubles the cost of the lights I want to put them in…

The price is quite okay for me: the driver is exellent, has tons of features, shipping time is like i got it from here
15$….2 packs of cigarettes… Eu freacking tax anti-tobaco policy FTW! P:)

Anyway, Neven, what are your recommendations for hosts ? I found C12 to be a very good houst for it, C8 even better( easiness of use) , but it cant handle the heat properly

Yezl i Y3 i coudlnt master  Yet, i ordered a new one…… and a new soldering station ! Also, HD 2010….

ON the Road X6M would have same issues like Y3, the driver diamether is 30.5, at least the el switch is separate

Maybe Convoy L4?

P.S I would need aditionaly 3 pcs, so when awailable i will order asap

If l4p would have them made in large quantities, I'm sure they could be made a lot faster and cheaper. But he made a brand new driver with very good features and it took him many months to develope and test it, so he is entitled to see some of that back in his sales. A large-scale production run would spoil that.

It would not necessarily spoil it. He chose to do them by hand because of the unknown popularity and the quantity required to do a pick and place run. I am sure that if he had enough prepaid orders that it could be profitable. I say prepaid because something like this requires capital. I do not know what the minimum quantity would be for p&p but I do know that I have spent at least $50 on dinner that was pure crap so to commit $50 to a large run would not be a big deal to me if others would want to jump on the same train.

I have the same problem with copper-alloy springs that I had made 200 of by a spring factory. They are good springs of a type and quality not for sale elsewhere, but are too expensive how it is now. If I order 2500 of them they cost 3 times less and are a really good deal on a quality component. But I'm not going to invest 700 dollars not knowing if I get them sold.

1000 people just prepaid to get the BLF X6. Why couldn't 1000 (just a number) people prepay for a driver. The PayPal excuse is out of the window too because it no longer is 45 days. If 100 people went in on 3 each................

Nobody prepaid for the BLF X6.

Thus, the mention of a groupbuy, and the suggestion of pre-pay. I’m still contemplating buying some of these at the current price, when I get the spare cash (and they’re available to buy  ), but a cheaper price does sound tempting, and I’d be willing to buy more of them than I originally intended, so that there is enough money flowing to get the price significantly lower, if that is possible. We just saw with the Eagle Eye X6 what can be achieved when enough people get on board with a group-buy.

Yeah, we didn’t pre-pay, but we are still getting people wanting more lights: the Sign-up List thread is still active! Pre-pay isn’t a bad idea, though, since we have here a guy we know we can trust.
