Fried Solarstorm T3, what to do?

I just switched to new leds in it and the black cable went to the host when I put it together and lit up (direct drive I think) without any push at the buttom.
The on buttom lights up green as usual now, but no light at the leds. I think I maybe fried the IC in there or the mos fet. How to messure? Is there any work around to get full power on mos fet if the IC is fried with one on/off buttom?

This is how it look. How much voltage to the pin with the red arrow to test if the mosfet work?

Update:
There is 3,7v at the arrow when the buttom is on and turns green! Mosfet kaputt?

Can you post pic’s of the LED’s you swapped?

This is one of the old ones, very coold XM-L I think. The new ones is “Cree XM-L2 T6-3B 10W 1100LM 5000-5200K Neutral White LED Emitter on 16mm Base Plate ”.

Update2:
The 3 levels at the buttom also seams to work so the IC is ok I think, different voltages to the fet.

Update3:
Tested the leds with 4v and they lit up fine but the draw is under 0,5A. The leds seams ok, to much resistance in the cables when messured!
Is it safe to direct wire the leds to the batteries and use the on/off just turn the body?
Where to find a new Mos fet if it´s kaputt? Maybe there is a replacement?
I´m new to this so sorry for the newbie questions and the bad english!

“Is it safe to direct wire the leds to the batteries and use the on/off just turn the body?” - no, this is not safe. The button (microswitch) will be damaged, it is for low current only.

I think that you have possibly shorted out the LEDs under the reflector. Please re-assemble the light with no reflector and test.

I mean just turn the body half a turn to turn it off as usual when you travel and so on. I tested the leds with 3A and they just turn up bright, so no short. The only thing I can think of is the mos fet now, but how do I test it and is there a replacement? Can´t find it anywhere.

Please measure voltage between LED+ and LED- with the light turned on.

EDIT: AOD510 is a suitable replacement.

Zero 0V

I guess the FET is dead. I don’t know how it died.

Possible replacements:
AOD510
Vishay 70N02
IRFR3711ZTRPBF

I think one of the black wires to the led got shorted and damaged when I put it together, don´t know for sure but it lit up without any press on the buttom.

Thanks!
