Review: Tank007 E07 BLF Edition 3 Mode AA/14500

Nice detailed review. Can't wait for mine to arrive.

Reflection of the flashlight on the wall that has a glossy finish would be my guess.

Thanks for the fast, great review. Looking forward for the light.

I guess that too, since that seems to be the angle of the camera.

If i see the beamshots on hi that are around 120 lumen, i would rate my KD C8 i received yesterday only 400-500 :o

You know photos aren't to be trusted only if the comparison was done with the same photo specs. Well that includes same focal length and others.

indeed, bit stupid of me

Thanks for the review old!

Thanks again for a great review, old4570.

That's probably not too far off for the OTF values.

So what, Tank007 E07 BLF has 120 OTF lumens ?

Wow, that light turned out... really good. The low current draw is just phenomenally good for the output. Definitely need to pick one up when they become available again.

Some sort of Mirage ... [ Reflected light from the paint on the door , or simply the angle of the picture and a lens effect ]

Either the lens , or maybe a smooth spot on the paint on the door . Its the whitest white surface I have .... The wall gives a green tint [ used before ] which does not reflect the true tint of the beam ...

What are the run times (or at least estimated guess)?

Depends on the battery :

AA 2000mAh capacity = High 1 hour + , Medium 3 to 4 Hours or more , Low 40 hours +

14500 600mAh capacity = High 1 hour + . medium 3 hours + , low 60hours +

these are guess-ti-mates as there was no time [ folks wanted a review ] to check run behavior [ regulation etc ] , so room for some one else to explore and report .

Nice review! The outdoor shots seem to reflect it has a pretty decent tint.
Sounds like this one needs a 14500 to make a good EDC, besides saving weight.
I wonder if IMR’s will give the same results? Based on the results, it seems well regulated in both ranges.

After such a positive reveiw I can't wait for mine to come in the mail. I didn't pay the $2 extra and that may or may not have something to do with its delay. I have a uniquefire aa-s1 and I like the emitter in it so this light should even be nicer.

Very nice review, Matt. ;)

Looks like that LOW is a really nice low, and it's 2 lm with both NiMh and 14500 :O (but brighter in MED and HI). Interesting, LOW with 14500 should be a little bit brighter too, don't you think? :|

I purchased this light, but I'm just curious, between this and ITP A3 EOS r5, which light would be better for EDC?

In terms of lumen and runtime, and not size as a factor.

Thanks!

That's what I was expecting , I thought it would be at least 5 Lumen on the 14500 , but

Good question and am curious about PWM and the lmr battery question as well …What are you using to measure lumens Matt ?

Itp has to be way more efficent lumen for lumen , But with an edc it’s almost always a question of which light I like better physically .runtime isn’t much of a concern for me on an edc since it’s always catching a fresh battery …oops I jus noticed you’re asking about a AAA vs a AA… I’m changing my vote to the tank light …AAA’s just don’t cut it
