Most people use them on Trucks / dune buggy's / off road equipment. They work on 10-30v DC. The back is covered in heat-sink fins so yes you can use them stationary. Their rated at 14,500 LM

Ive been looking at Rigid Industries 40" LED light bars for my 4 x 4 for the past month. The reviews are stellar from many reviews and with the highest lumen per watt rating in the industry.
I don't know what brand he posted but I know Vision X offers a lot of these. I have seen them in person and they put out a LOT of light.
Sorry I really cant get into many details, sales links ect. I don't want to spam the board. We go through a company in china that sells them in unbranded OEM white boxes. They make lots of LED / HID lights and conversion kits as well as a few HID flashlights.
When all is said and done I'm hoping they will be around the $600 mark. Their not budget but their going to be a lot less than some of the other brands.
14,500 / 60 = 241.6 Lumens per LED. I would be very very pleasantly surprised if 241 lumens were actually being produced by a chinese 3W led....
Their actually Cree led's. If you can find me a 100% honest and reliable lumen rating from any manufacture let me know

Assuming that they're XR-E R2s, 3Watts * 60 gives the 180 watts, and 3 watts into an XR-E gives about 3.6 Volts at about 850mA..
Per the datasheet.. 114 Lumens (at 350Ma) * 185% (at 850ma) = 210 Lumens.. That's pretty good!
210 Lumens * 60 LEDs = 12,654 Lumens total output.
Impressive for 600 bucks..
Top manufacturers of these lighting systems go to extraordinary measures in building bullet proof systems through a process of evolution. Things like toughened vibration isolated circuit boards and wiring, thermal management in the way of massive extruded aluminum heat sinks and electronic current load throttling, patent protected highly efficient optical systems and worthy manufacturer warranties. Of the many current year 2011 posts listed on off-road forums spanning the internet, none brag about bargain chinese LED light bars that I could find. There are many, many comments about lesser LED light bar designs that failed rather quickly; and that in this instance, you get exactly what you pay for.
Im not trying to diss your chinese light bars by any means, and I would really like to hear that they worked out for you as planned. Personally though (and by public opinion), I have doubts that they will hold up to the vibration and abuse of an off road environment for even a short period of time. If others are interested, http://www.aliexpress.com lists dozens of similar bargain chinese models in the same "bargain" price range.
Feel free to believe whatever you want and I'm not selling these lights on this thread. I just wanted to show some new lights we got in. We have been selling these lights for over a year. Not this particular model but we have had a grand total of 2 returns from this manufacturer.
Im just going by an overwhelming number of testimonials from others that beat up equipment in the dirt. I honestly wish you success in your business with zero returns.
