I cant take it apart but im willing to bet its a nichia.......so far i have used nimh, 3.2volt and lastly 3.7volt lithiums with no ill side effects. The kids love them and so do i........i have a clear one that i got for myself.
They will love it man......you might just have little flashaholics running around.
I know my nephew Kyle will love it as much as I do. He tends to want to do everything I do and go everywhere I go. I can see him leaving here with several of my torches.

LOL It's all good. He's my favorite nephew so all he has to do is ask and it's his. All I want him to do is to keep his grades up and he can have anything he wants.

I was just about to buy a few of the 1W Rubber lights and see there are price breaks for quantities of 2, 3 and 6 but when I put 3 different colours in my cart there is no discount. Did you guys get the discount when buying separate colours? I realise it’s not much off but as they say, a penny saved is a penny earned.... or some crap like that.

Do I get it right: It will take 14500s without problems?
It's been 3+ weeks and a dozen or more emails and Golden Gadgets hasn't contacted me. They emailed me in the beginning and after about a week they stopped. They owe me $10 and I know that's not a lot but it still bugs the crap out of me. I am very loyal when it comes to retail and online stores but as soon as I get screwed even once, that's it. So until Golden Gadgets fixes things with me, they can go F**K themselves until then. |(
I apologize for the rant but I had to get it out and let people know so that it doesn't happen to anyone else.

I don't see the point if they won't respond to any of my emails. It's not like they don't know of the problem because they did respond twice at first but then just stopped. No emails, no nothing for 3+ weeks now. I guess mentioning that I would prefer a refund scared them off. I'll just chalk it up as a loss and never buy from them again.

After reading about fishinfool’s bad experience I sent them a couple of emails on Friday asking if the rubber flashlights were still available from their suppliers. I received a generic reply but today I got an email saying that the order I made on the 9th has now been shipped. I have my fingers crossed that this means both of us will have our flashlights soon.
I imagine that their suppliers often play dirt tricks on them, so they tend to pass on the bad experience to their customers. Most of them don't have any stock. Although I read on Focalprice's forums that they just moved to a bigger warehouse, which makes me thing they keep some stuff in stock.

It looks great but after getting treated like crap by GoldenGadgets.com, I will never order from them again unless they make things right. It's been almost 2 months now and still nothing. GoldenGadgets.com is a worthless company to deal with and the sad thing is that it was because they owed me a measly $10. Pretty sad right?

You might try buying in quantity and then sending a note with your order asking for mixed colors.
Budget Light Forum ...where Frugal meets with Flashlight!
Thanks Admin, will drop them a line.
I read in the review section a previous buyer ended up getting all one colour so was just looking for assurance before buying.
Cheers,
Gary
Just went ahead and ordered, I'm not the most patient of people.
Although the 15% off discount code (mem15) didn't work, the 10% one (out10) did, so saved a bit.

Cheap quality is good - Expensive crap isn´t
