****Copper Eagle Eye X6 heatsinks****(design)

In for 2 Alu. Please post a sample pic.

I should have a samply by monday,freeme u just hit 1k post :)

I'd be in for 2 aluminum ones.

Edit: Planning to use with the XP32 mcpcb.

I’m in for one aluminum. Prefer two piece for flexibility.

I would be in for a copper one to suit the 32mm triple with ledil optic. As long as it comes in under $30 I’m happy.

LSX ill be having few copper made i say around 15-20pc and thanks for mentioning the 32mm optic

Can u guys post what optic u are going to use ???

so maybe i can have some heatsinks done so it will fit the 24mm optic and another design to fit the 32mm optic

here is the 32mm Noctigon

IIRC, Dale was more impressed with his triple (or was it the quadruple?) than the MT-G2 he did in the same light. He did also say that you have to purposely crush two 18350’s to make them fit in the tube.

Sounds good nitro. I want to do the exact same set up as Dale has done in the intl-outdoor 32mm interest thread, but in copper. I will 100% be in for one and possibly a second depending on the final price including freight. But it would depend a little on the time frame we are working on here so I’m keen to hear updates as they happen.

just to show it again this is what im shooting for in copper for the intl-outdoor 32mm board not nice looking as the quad heatsink due to the large 32mm board

Looks good to me. I haven’t checked the size requirements on mine so I will just assume they are correct for what we are wanting to do.

I made the triple one and it worked out fine. Based on that, I also made the quad. Seeing as how I don’t have a lathe or all that fancy equipment, mine isn’t as fancy as the updated diagram.

The Quad makes 2500 lumens with XP-G2 S3 3C emitters. The Triple can make 4040 lumens with XP-L V6 2C emitters. With the Ledil Cute-3 the XP-L doesn’t need to be de-domed, so there’s no tint loss or lumens loss. V5 2D emitters give me ~3800 lumens and V4 3D emitters made ~3300 lumens.

Yes, I have made 3 triples, with the last one having an aluminum sink exactly as pictured. And one Quad, with a more primitive sink but essentially the same as the one pictured.

While I do very much like the X6 with the Quad, the triple is just exceptional! The larger TIR lenses and the style of the lens, it looks awesome and just works.

FET drivers of course, and the best IMR cells I could use. Wights A17DD-S08 is single sided and fits into the X6 like it was made for it.

i have 4 host and they all check out the same size, i was thinking once the sample is done i can send out through out u guys to check to see if it fits your guys lite and see how u like them ?

ok guys the head of the light was dropped off today to my machinist, he will be making me a sample for $35 not to bad since it will take time and lots of precision on this one. this will not be the final price lol

Oh he is also making me a software CD encase down the road we need more :)

Is he making it in aluminum?

The heatsink on the first page will be aluminum and this heatsink for the 32mm board will be copper like this

unless u guys want something different

Nitro, if you can get one of the quads in copper I’d be interested in one for sure.

Edited my previous post with interest in 2 heatsinks, to be used with the XP32 mcpcb. Thanks.

Should be something like this, for the triple…

Anyone recognize the sample BLF SE X6 that made the road trip? :stuck_out_tongue:

Somehow I assumed your 4040 lumen monster was the quad. I’m guessing the quad was only lower because you used XP-G2s, is there some reason not to use XPLs and get more lumens out of the quad??

And like this for the Quad…

This heat sink has been refined to better fit the bezel for full contact inside the head with better fitment. Call this one the prototype of the prototype.
