I get my 26650s and other li-ions from MtnElectronics — in the same country, so shipping is a lot simpler.

I ordered 6 SingFire SF-348 in the natural white version and got all 6 in the cool white version. One obvious difference is that the CW ones are branded with the SingFire name and the NW versions have no markings. I will probably keep them, but I just wanted to point out that they got 6 out of 6 items wrong in my order. One has a bad switch, which I’ll make a video for, and would consider that a normal problem.

Getting every item wrong in the order is not what I would consider normal for a good seller.

Hi Racer, I’m really sorry about that, could you please give PM me with your order number, thanks .

Ordered an android tablet, got best price I could find anywhere, and shipping was fast, transaction went smoothly, thank you Karen

I ordered a Lucky Sun light, came in a decent package. It took way too long though, GB is probably drop shipping, maybe shipping orders in groups or something. It took a week for a shipping notice than another 5 weeks to get it. In comparison to 3 other Chinese vendors they are very slow getting things shipped. My other orders over the last two months all took less than 2 weeks total to my door, most get here in 12 days including weekends.

So, if you don’t mind slow shipping, Gear Best is OK. The flashlight was exactly as described, works good so far and the price was great. I rather get my stuff in 14 days or less though. My last headlamp a CH-10 came from another vendor in 10 days, I rather order from vendors like that. The ones who actually have the item in hand and ready to ship right out. But, even my last couple items that were drop shipped from China through a US vendor arrived in 14 days. The GB shipping time is ridiculous compared to the average ebay or aliexpress seller even.

LuckySun D80 CREE XML-U2

This was my first order from Gearbest and I received a DOA flashlight. I contacted them and they want an additional $5 to replace a DOA flashlight. I sent them a video showing the issue.

I’m still waiting for my second order (Nitecore HC50) to arrive. Hope it isn’t a dud too.

Needless to say I will not be making any further purchase from Gearbest once I dig into my pocket and pay their ransom for a working flashlight that was a so so deal to begin with.

My batteries (keeppower 5200mAh) arrived packaged only in foil, dropped in to bubble bag, 4 pieces… No nice box…

I thought my D80 was DOA also, but it was just the battery tube not tightened properly… Tightened up the front end after lubing the threads and it lit up. The threads were dry and the parts were not threading into each other all the way.

Other than that, the D80 is performing well so far. Using it every night. Love the size and it throws pretty good for such a compact reflector.

Hi The Grand Pooh-Bah, I’m sorry about this issue, could you please PM me with your order number, thanks.

Hi Tanner, thanks for making it right.

Hi maciex93, I’m feel sorry about it, and beg your kindly understanding, hope the batteries work well, if the batteries isn’t work, please be free to contact me.

When I tried to buy this UV light for the $7.27 that it sells for, in the cart it posted at $8.28, why is that? Also any comments on the light?

Hi brad, please try it again, it’s now right.

Batteries are ok, I tested them.

Thanks

Hi maciex93, thanks and hope you can enjoy it

Over two weeks to dispatch an 18650 cell…. Not impressed as that cell is to go with a light ordered at the same time in November…

If they could get it together with the shipping they could be a good supplier.

I ordered (order number W1410051119473928) this Osram Headlamp last 06 October 2014 along with other items and got my parcel this morning.

I was happy with my little headlamp though its was not really bright when I installed an alkaline AA battery in it. Since its specs at GB says that it also takes 14500 cells, I installed a Sanyo UR14500P in it. It lit for a while then it went off. When I opened the battery compartment, out went a very unpleasant smell as if something putrid was burned.

I opened the zooming head and this is what I saw.

The middle part (an IC) of the driver was burnt and it smells really bad till now. :frowning:

I think GearBest needs to correct the specs of the headlamp. Others who would order the same could suffer the same fate or worse - cause a fire.

That’s a bummer. Wait over two months for a headlight and it goes up in smoke the day it arrives.

Hi Nightbird95,

I’m really sorry about it, could you please PM me with your oder number, thanks.
