I quite like the near design over Solarstorm Dx4. Material grade looks similar with new tailcap and radiating fins added to the head. For this size, it does not look silly using it on land too.

Nope, I did not get the new sky ray. It resembles closely to SS Dx 2x26650 series with I feel that they are pretty good. I actually wanted to get one for mod purpose unitl I saw these Sky ray versions. Sky ray price is still only the high side. $35-42 should be more reasonable for 5x Cree. Not many stores are carrying them right now I think.
