X6 switch help

Hey guys i need little help on my X6 host........its all built and working but does not work with the tailcap screwed all the way in ? but when i take the tailcap off and turn it to the side the lite comes on and when i keep doing that it switches through the modes

i checked to see if the tailcap is loose and its not

has to be getting ground since it does come on at the very last thread of the tailcap ??

i tried sanding the threads with VERY lite sand paper and still nothing any other ideas

I think taking a look at this thread about SF tailcaps may help you: RWS34 - Solarforce Switch problems - erratic when screwed down

I don’t really understand what you are saying though. The X6 uses anodized threads: anything other than fully tightened should be locked out. You seem to be saying that if you unscrew the tailcap almost all the way it works.

Try flipping the battery tube end for end. Even though the threads are the same pitch at both ends it only works one way.

that's correct if the tailcap is almost off it works and ill try that ^^^^

If you have a Convoy S2 there were some threads on BLF that said the caps are interchangeable

Rufusbduck you was right,Switched ends and works perfect Bort i read that also but i did not have one on hand

I feel smart now. H)

Good job!
