(Email is coming with tracking )Discussion Thread.-- 1st BLF Titanium flashlight with tritium.

Sorry for my way of writing. Edited.

What I'm thinking is to have a Ti shell only.

The most impressive one to me is this.

I’d probably be in if it was 18650.

Truly said, expert on "Pro/engineer" or "CAD" is required here.

how about the cut outs for trits?

I really think they should implement that.. even if its not obvious for trits.

but imho it`s better to have some slots for them, in case people want to add them, machining slots later is not what most people want/can do.

All the previous BLF lights were small lights. Enough with the popcorn farts, bring on the big guns. J)

Big Ti could kill your wallet.

Minimum quantity?

I would definitely be interested in a reasonably priced Ti host, 16340 or 18650 preferably and I agree with ChibiM, predrilled slots for trits would be awseome.

I’d like something similar in size to a C8 but in titanium. With a pill that can accept a 20mm star and 17mm driver with a deep driver pocket ~10-15mm and a thick shelf under the star.

For AAA host,price might be 25$,shipped. MOQ:200pcs.

not sure about the bigger 18650.

Me, thinking out loud: “interesting idea that will never work”…

18650 hook me up.

This is a great idea, I expect it will be difficult to build something everyone will agree on… but you can still build something great…

I’m interested… subscribed

The biggest obstacle for most groupbuys/custom builds is to get everyone coming to an agreement.

yep... agreement...where are the trits?

I would be interested, pending final specs, in a generously sized AAA shell/host. I’m still a newbie, so a tight (length-wise) fit might be hard for me to manage building. A solid copper pill included, please, preferably taking up space between host and head like the pill on the sinner host that djozz has pictured in post #13. I’d like to have some interesting knurling too, like the Titaner that Rey has pictured in post #25.

I’d also be interested if it was a 16340 or 18350 host. A small-looking light with a (potentially) big punch! I don’t know if there is enough oomph in a 14250, but a light made for that size might be interesting as well.

That is a task for Tom Cruise

You get what you pay for. If you want something nice, you have to get up off that wallet. I’d love to have a Devil Stick host.

I don`t think there will be many people interested in a C8 in titanium..

probably not even a handful!

C8 lights don`t have the appeal (for titanium).
