What is your company’s Chinese name? Does it mean anything in Chinese?
You’ll get a lot more useful suggestions if we know more about your Brand Identity, including your own name.
Also, what market segment are you targeting? Low cost, easily accessible (i.e. “Budget”) lights or ridiculous high priced rich-boy toys? Or supplies for us DIY types?
If you can stand to commit to never, EVER sell a flashlight with blinky modes, you could probably become famous with the name “Non-Blinking Flashlight Company”…
My best suggestion without more information would be:
Lux In Tenebris
It means “Light In Darkness” in Latin, a long-dead language. To save space on your Logo you could use the initials “LIT”, which is the English past tense for “Light”… As in “We’ve been making light so long, we refer to it in the past tense.”
I second the suggestion that the person who offers the name you choose should get some kind of reward like samples of your products (for review, of course).
(remember you can and should look to see if a suggestion has already been used as a business name
AND look for a dictionary definition of the suggested word — which will suggest other possibilities)
