GREAT DEALS NEGOTIATED - ITP EOS Flashlights and others

I've had great experiences with Mike at GearUpEurope.com. He answered ALL my questions on the first query, offered sound INTELLIGENT advice, and gave me the best possible prices. See my recent purchase thread with him here. The package arrived with all contents in new condition... and at great prices. Laughing

Since Mike deals in ITP, (and we all want an EOS model) I asked him if he could cut some great deals for us. Guess what? He came through in flying colors. He also tests each light before it goes out the door to make sure it works.

There is a $4 flat shipping rate regardless of the order size. (Buy 1 or 10 lights and it still costs you only $4 to ship the entire order). The great prices far offset the shipping costs.

From Mike:

If your forum could drum up more than 10 purchases, I can lower the prices to the following:

ITP A1 (Black) $20
ITP A2 (Black) $19
ITP A3 Upgrade Edition (Black or Natural Gray and smaller quantity of Purple, Gold, Red, Blue available) $16
I'm already in for one of each. Thanks Mike!
These are special deals just for us so go through him direct. Contact Mike at sales@gearupeurope.com
Also, don't forget to check out the Clearance items at www.gearupeurope.com. You can negotiate for several lights at once to save a few more dollars. Here's his entire reply in regard to my enquiry. Its worth reading because there are additional discounts and incentives mentioned.
Hi Keith,
I get that reaction a lot. I do a lot of camping and night hikes. People are always amazed at my lights but as soon as they hear that it costs more than $10 they are surprised. I think the modern LED lights are amazing pieces of technology. Sure, some are overpriced, but in the end you're paying for a quality piece of technology.
Regarding your price inquiries, I'll try my best to help you out.
First of all, I offer members of the Bushcraft UK forum a coupon code for an automatic 5% discount. The discount is good for the entire store, not just the flashlights. Here are the instructions:
You don't have to be a member to use the discount. Just read the link and follow the instructions.
Feel free to post this on your own forum, or send it to your friends - whatever you think is appropriate.
There really isn't much profit in the ITP A1, A2 and A3 lights. It sort of makes sense that a group buy didn't quite work out (on your last deal).
The unfortunate part of the deal is that I'll have to ask for $4 per package shipping. I'll ship anywhere in the world, but I can't do it for less than 4 bucks. I'll happily combine shipping of course.
If you or anyone is interested in asking for a special discount on any of the other lights I sell, clearance items or otherwise, please have them send me an email (just like you did): sales@gearupeurope.com. I can't promise that I'll be able to offer the type of discount that you received, but I'm willing to consider reasonable offers, especially for larger volume orders.
I was speaking to my account manager at ITP today. I can get a fantastic deal on the following older lights if anyone is interested. The catch is that I have to order at least 10 otherwise there is no deal.
Olight T25 Q5 Tactical $30
ITP C7R or C7T $28
ITP C9R $28
ITP C10T $30
The same $4 shipping would apply to anywhere in the world.
And one final favor I wanted to ask you. If you are satisfied with the items you received from me, can you please login to your eBay account and leave some positive feedback for me? I want to build up my feedback rating because I may decide to sell some more items on eBay during the fall. Your feedback would really help me.
Thanks for your time,
Mike

Thanks for your efforts on arranging the group buy. The prices are good, but the shipping sort of kills the deal for me. I can get those same lights from goinggear.com for the same total price if buying only one. Shipping also only takes 2 days. But that's just for me and not everyone else.

The price would come out nicely if someone were to buy more than one light. I'm sure a lot of other people may be interested in this deal.

I totally agree. There's lots of cool stuff at the web site, and he is accepting offers for ordering multiple item orders. Very easy guy to deal with. Cool $4 shipping is for the entire order.

Hi there FlashPilot,

Thanks for arranging this deal, we appreciate your time and efforts! Although $4 is a tad bit expensive compared with the free shipping of the Chinese companies, I must admit that it's actually very cheap considering that he is not shipping from China, and shipping is often prohibitively expensive in other countries. And I'm really glad to see he is offering worldwide shipping; I usually can only buy from China because USA and UK companies like GoingGear or Battery Junction are just too expensive for shipping or don't ship at all to South America.

So with shipping I could get the ITP A2 EOS for $23 shipped. Not bad at all. Does he offer the Maratac AA by any chance? I would prefer that one because it can tailstand.

I've been tempted to buy there more than once. But unfortunately, Israel is not part of Europe and must pay inportation fees.

Nor do I know if the store put the real value in the shipments and/or the treatment they receive from the customs of my country coming from there.

It is a pity because prices tend to be competitive and I suppose that the shipment will be faster...

"Budget Light Forum ...where Frugal meets with Flashlight!" ... I like that very much. I wish I had found this forum earlier. Having read through some of the threads here it seems like the community is knowledgeable and dedicated to reasonably priced yet high quality flashlights.

It's not appropriate for me to sell here, but I do want to address the issue of customs duties and taxes for my friends in Europe. It's my policy to "help" everyone with the value of the package, if you know what I mean. Please email me personally if you would like more details.

I'm going to set up a BudgetLightForum member discount code soon. In the meantime, please use another coupon code for the other forum I recommend and support. Here are the details: http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46363

I'd like to thank the administrators and active members for supporting this friendly forum. Hopefully I'd be able to offer some opinions, answer some questions, ask some questions, and learn a few things along the way.

Welcome Mike!

Good to have you here. Hope you have a good time with us.

You probably want to take a look at this thread.

Personally I'd be very glad to see you posting something similar.

Hey there Mike, a very warm welcome to BLF! We'll be very glad to have your expertise here.

With respect to this deal, you you by any chance offer the Maratac AA? I understand that it is very similar to the ITP A2, but the design of the Maratac appeals to be a bit more.

Im just trying to give back to the forum. You're the real star here Mr. Admin. :) The savings are good but get even better with a volume purchase. I deal with Mike for his excellent customer service and great prices. Email him directly for the best deals.

+ A Lot!

Welcome aboard Mike,

Thanks to an open minded Admin and a great group of enthusiasts that attend, this forum is new and growing by the day. We don't get burdened with enormous animosities generated by dictatorial Nazi forum rules... like some other flashlight sites that many of us have learned to despise. We're here to talk about flashlights... freely and cohesively. "Here, here, I say!!! My flashaholic brethren care only about projecting photons in handheld devices they can afford and discussing ways in which we can accomplish this."

I've encouraged people to email you directly to negotiate their best deals. Admittedly, I'm a rather demanding customer. You've always taken the time to deal with me, and in a scenario that isn't going to make you become rich very quickly. I know you'll treat each of our members as you've treated me, and I look forward to reading good reports from others about their experiences with you.

We wish you the best of luck in your business. Please feel free to drop by and post specials for us to contemplate. Oh how we like those!

I'm looking forward to receiving my contingent of EOS lights to compliment the other lights I've purchased through you.

Hi sb56637. I'm an authorized dealer for ITP, Olight, and ThruNite only. I've read some very nice reviews of the Maratac, but I am unable to sell them.

By the way, check your inbox. I'm about to send you a message regarding a Budget Light Forum-specific coupon code.

I think that I just run out of excuses…Im glad to read this. Your “help” will be greatly appreciated.

I will comment this also in our forum. More than one user was in the same situation of uncertainty than me.

Any coupon specially for BLF members?

Oddly the telephone number of gearupeurope.com (641 715-3900) is associated with a lot of strange telemarketing groups and other unsavory marketing practices. What's going on with that?

http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-641-715-3900

EDIT: Mystery solved. It looks like they are using http://www.simplevoicebox.com/, which is a voice mail service used by many, including telemarketing groups.

Hi Ziemas,

It's a free telephone answering service. Similar to the free cz.cc domain registration. I'd prefer to pass the savings on to the customers rather than spending on expensive phone plans.

If you still don't trust me, please read the first post in this thread. Check my 100% positive feedback on eBay and the comments that people have left me. Google GearUpEurope.com and read about my dedication to customer service. If after all that you still don't trust me there are plenty of other dealers that have good reputations. If you are located in the United States, I can recommend GoingGear.com. I am very friendly with the owner and I know that he treats his customers like royality.

Jaa, I saw that and edited my post a little before you replied. Thanks, Mike!

Yes, and the seller Mike was respectful enough to ask me first before posting details. I created a profile for the company in the Budget Dealers category, and I asked Mike to post details there.

Im looking forward to getting my new lights. I ordered 1 or each:

Olight T25-T R5 (V-2010) Cree XP-G R5 LED, 230 Lumens Maximum

iTP A1 EOS

iTP A2 EOS

iTP A3 EOS

Thanks to Mike and our negotiations, it wont be long before I have 1 of everything in his shop!

Thanks again Mike.
