smallest 18650 flashlight?

X6 is HUGE for pocket carry. Ok in a coat pocket, but not trouser pocket. Ok I do EDC mine too… but there is no denying it isn’t compact.

I just got a convoy s2+ and it is an amazing light for sub $20. It may not be the absolute smallest but its not difficult to pocket.

The D25LC2 Mini is very compact, it’s also narrower than pretty much any other 18650 light I’ve seen, including the DQG Tiny.

EagleTac also of the D25C2 which is CR123a x 2 or 16650 compatible which is a bit narrower again.

OP - do you want twisty or clicky activation? As usually torches with switches are either longer, wider or both.

Also think about battery compatibility, some very small lights might not like long or fat 18650’s and may not accept protected ICR’s at all.

How about the “brass beauty”? I think it’s the smallest 18650 light that I’ve seen. It is sized approximately 97 x 20.5 mm, and does have a tail switch (not a twisty, like most small lights). There’s also the new version available that comes with anti-patina coating, and different looks.

It’s the brass light right there in the middle, between Convoy S3 and SK-68. Credits to ToyKeeper for the pic.

I believe the next smallest light—after the troubled DQG Tiny is
the BrassBeauty from CNQualityGoods.
Nice build quality—just a bit heavy.

is this a real 18650 flashlight? It looks so close to an sk68 clone. I would like to have a bigger brother to the sk68 in 18650 but I've been thinking they're just labeling the sk68 wrong. If someone can confirm for me I'll buy a couple of these today.

U mean sk98

They are a real flashlight that uses the 18650, I ordered two of them three weeks ago (took about 12 days to arrive, shipping from China).
I bought them just because they look like the SK68 (14550), but are a little bigger.

Here is the SK98 (18650) in black, I also ordered two of them for my self (and 12 days to ship to me).

I don’t know exactly about the one on eBay, but like koyotee said the sk98 is just the 18650 version. I am sure there are some sk68 out there that have been labeled wrong.

FastTech sells a sk98,but for some reason I can’t post the link to it.

I refuse to get caught up in the biggest ,brightest ,smallest ,cheapest type quest. If you know what the smallest is than I'd add about 15% to that as it gives the maker a bit of wiggle room .if you are always looking for the tiniest or lightest you'll run into other stupid problems not normally associated with light 4 MM longer. you don't want a light that you can't get protected batteries in do you ? or one that has oddball parts that will make fixing it impossible if you ever have a problem. the s6 or s2+ is about as small a light as i'd suggest to most people .The brass cnqgoods light is smaller but weight and lack of clip is an issue .

SC series zebra lights are small but not cheap .

98mm cqg Brass

100mm Zebralight sc50

110mm roche f6

115mm Convoy S6

115mm Aleto /smallsun /ultra-fire 10-15$ sideswitch lights/s-5,cheap zoomies..etc (popular size)

115mm N-light L-2

117mm Convoy S2+

123mm convoy S2

135- 145mm average P-60 lights

i'd aim for 115mm. and buy something you like the look and feel of .

EZ answer is.... if you don't have a convoy s series light .... buy almost any one of them .. great bang for your buck lights .

As much as all of these lights are pocketable and i've carried them before . i don't think I'd ever edc a 18650 light in my pocket .....not all day , everyday

You might if you had an S20 with it’s never-fail deep carry clip.

NO one mentioned the Zebralight SC62? It’s 97mm long. Super small. I have 2 because they are so cool.

Convoy S3 vs. Zebralight Sc62w

Thank you for all your answers.
I didn’t know that there are so many nice small flashlights.

Now it’s decision time.
I will chech all this lights. After I will have end list, I will ask for your final opinion.

Kind regards

I’d vote Zebralight SC62w. Great output, tint and UI. And smaller than any light listed in this thread other than much worse quality DQG18650 mini.

The SC62w and the DQG18650 actually weigh the same, but the DQG is a little more compact.

Do not buy DQG tiny 18650!!!

Small size comparison:

DQG Tiny 18650 (gen1), 18650 Brass Beauty (gen2), Skilhunt H02 New & T12 18650 ("Convoy S3")

Yeah, like everyone already saying, DQG Tiny 18650 is not worth it. Very buggy mode changing.

OK, here is my end list:

ROCHE F6
can’t find web site

What will you choose and why?

I see that some flashlights have xp-g2 and some have xm-l2, which led is better?

I know that EC21 is available with coupon for 36$, F6 is also quite cheap but for others I don’t know where can I get them for lowest price. If you know, please post a link.

Thank you.

Kind regards

XM-L2 gives more light overall and XP-G2 throws better.
