Cool little charger but isn’t it a 10440 charger and not a AAA charger or does it do both.

Very cool. That is a great solution. My first charger like this was one of the LM2596 CC/CV boards that I put into the tin that came with my Tank007 E09. I built it so I could charge some of the fancy new 4.35v cells, since there wasn't really a commercially available charger yet.
Mine obviously needed an external power supply and cords for the board.
After the Xtar 4.35v chargers came out I stopped using it, but it was pretty cool to have it at the time.
