Some NEW budget chinese knife in the market?

I think this is a new enlan model, EL19:

are there more?

yeah, enlan has been around a while

Interesting but “NO LONGER AVAILABLE” according to the link. I’ve tried to find newer Enlan/Bee listings from the home site but even there the info is scant, non-existant, or unfathomable.

Seems a lot for an Enlan:

I bought one for 19.00 USD

I just have seen that elan have new models, from Enlan el014 to el019. And there isn’t in standard shops like exduct or fasttech. May be that models is for others countries, or it isn’t coming from China?.
By the way, the enlan el16 is ugly (for me) but incredible robust (thick blade until almost the tip).

EL-16 and EL-19A available HERE
No connection etc.

I quite like the 16 but for the wave “feature”, I have no need of such a thing.

I sent a couple of product requests about them to Fasttech last September without any result…

Fancy buying in bulk?
Ganzo
Multi-tools
Daoke-Ganzo

Thanks to Chloe for the original post on British Blades Forum.

This is nice.
I particularly like this version of the Ganzo G720 although there are plenty of good looking knives that we don’t see in the West.

That would be a major commitment in terms of cash, without being certain of a market to sell them.

The clon of lionsteel seems to be very close to the clone of ganzo. I would like to see a comparative between ganzo and daoke. War of clons!

I must admit than the ganzo g716 and g720 are two of the knives i like very much.

Maybe Daoke makes the knives for Ganzo, with Doake having one of the G720’s that I’ve not seen anywhere that sells Ganzo it makes me wonder.
Same as Fengli they have several Ganzo knives and Oslan for Enlans.
Fengli even have a liner lock version of the G720

Elan have a UK distributor. Prices obviously higher than from China and delivery charges. But almost instant delivery for UK buyers and no risk of a loose blade being stopped as a gravity knife by customs.

That’s the site that I linked to in post #6.
The delivery is £4.50 making an Enlan EL-01 £18.49 or $27.76, FastTech have them for around $14 or £9.32, that’s quite a mark-up.
Another retailer in the U.K., Handyniknaks, sells the EL-01 for £25.99 or $39, they can’t tell difference between SanRenMu and Enlan.
Heinnie Haynes sells the Boker Magnum A-Stan for £15.95 + £2 delivery or $26.94.

These U.K. retailers pile on the price, Blades and Bows is quite good and the Boker Magnum from Heinnie Haynes is a great buy, it is subtly different, comes in a tin with the Torx bits to adjust the pivot which is the triangle shape but with a Torx head in the middle, the other end of the Torx wrench fits the scale screws.

It also has a different blade and hardware treatment a grey that fits well with the khaki scales.

Surplus store U.K. sell the RUI 19397 Energy series, an EL-01KH or EL-01A with RUI branding, and comes packaged in a fake Energy Drink can, for £40, $60 and yes I have bought one (to make the set) but I bought mine from Spain and saved a bit.

I can see the attraction of buying from inside the U.K., U.K. Border Agency seem to be concentrating more on flippers recently.
I got all mine before the extra scrutiny started. but FastTech, Exduct, AliExpress and Ebay U.S.A. have great prices. If you contact a China based seller on Ebay U.S.A. they are very willing to send stuff outside of Ebay so it doesn’t get caught in the “Not selling knives to this area” page. Run on Rock is a good place to start on or off Ebay.

Ah , but the wave feature is the best part .
