Discount on Flashlights in DD------Sept. Group Buy

I'm almost certain that I can't resist a V10A at that price.

I'm in for one SA1, and possibly also a V10A if I happen to get drunk enough in front of my PC while the purchase window is open.

You seem to have come through for us again Summer, well done!

Those prices look good but I'll have to pass because my funds are currently tied up in another flashlight purchase. Thanks summer!

lol, +1

Summer, can you confirm if SA1 comes with R2 or R5? Asking that because others sellers sells, for example, A3 with R5, and they still have Q5 in pics and description. Thanks in advance.

V10A for $55, could work...

The prices do look good. Which one do you think would throw farther?

FandyFire STL-V6

or

Palight T6 Super Bright

The STL-V6 looks like it has a larger reflector but I didnt see any spec listed for the Palight. I also couldnt find a review for the Palight.

57mm head on Palight said VFMaddict

FandyF should throw better.

FF STL-V6 throws farther. I have the OTR X5 which is like 99% similar to the Palight, just not sure about the driver used.

It's very obvious that the STL-V6 casts a brighter spot than the OTR X5 and at a 400m target the STL-V6 is just wee wee bit dimmer than a Solarforce MPP-1, maybe will get some beamshots tomorrow night.

But for this Palight, i suppose you can put 2 x 18350 (bestinone IMRs) as you can break it in the middle and use it as a fully and truly regulated light. Better than X9.

I noticed this too.

Those were supposed to be the promotional prices. The prices currently listed on the website are the normal prices and have been there since this offer was initiated. The Sunwayman never changed because at the time they thought it was the lowest they could go because of a promotion they were already running on it.

Thanks.

STL-V6 = 59mm lens.

Palight = 57mm lens.

Thanks Weiser

Palight's lens has to be smaller than 57mm since the head is 57mm.

Thanks for the comparison & thoughts on 18350's. The higher weight and size of a large thrower doesnt bother me, so I havent felt the need to truncate any of its body parts... yet. I also dont usually turn off a large light once its on until the batteries are depleted anyway. I wonder if the MPP-1 would be difficult to mod to XM-L or if it would even be worth it. It could be that the surface brightness of a high bin MC-E exceeds that of an XM-L (and likely does), which is why it throws marginally farther.

I'll think it over and probably go with the STL-V6.

I'll take a Palight

When will we get our codes?

Sunwayman V10A :)

I'm interested in the V10A

I'd like Sunwayman V10A. Thanks.

Now that they've offered a price break on the V10A I would say that's probably the best option. If offers a something unique compared to the rest in that it's a quality, variable output flashlight that is considerably more inexpensive next to leading competitors. But this is where I actually get some use out of CPF. I use the marketplace when I'm searching for the more expensive lights, which isn't often. But this is a great deal when you consider the retail price on these.
