The prices do look good. Which one do you think would throw farther?

FandyFire STL-V6

or

Palight T6 Super Bright

The STL-V6 looks like it has a larger reflector but I didnt see any spec listed for the Palight. I also couldnt find a review for the Palight.

57mm head on Palight said VFMaddict

FandyF should throw better.

FF STL-V6 throws farther. I have the OTR X5 which is like 99% similar to the Palight, just not sure about the driver used.

It's very obvious that the STL-V6 casts a brighter spot than the OTR X5 and at a 400m target the STL-V6 is just wee wee bit dimmer than a Solarforce MPP-1, maybe will get some beamshots tomorrow night.

But for this Palight, i suppose you can put 2 x 18350 (bestinone IMRs) as you can break it in the middle and use it as a fully and truly regulated light. Better than X9.

I noticed this too.

Those were supposed to be the promotional prices. The prices currently listed on the website are the normal prices and have been there since this offer was initiated. The Sunwayman never changed because at the time they thought it was the lowest they could go because of a promotion they were already running on it.

Thanks.

STL-V6 = 59mm lens.

Palight = 57mm lens.

Thanks Weiser

Palight's lens has to be smaller than 57mm since the head is 57mm.

Thanks for the comparison & thoughts on 18350's. The higher weight and size of a large thrower doesnt bother me, so I havent felt the need to truncate any of its body parts... yet. I also dont usually turn off a large light once its on until the batteries are depleted anyway. I wonder if the MPP-1 would be difficult to mod to XM-L or if it would even be worth it. It could be that the surface brightness of a high bin MC-E exceeds that of an XM-L (and likely does), which is why it throws marginally farther.

I'll think it over and probably go with the STL-V6.

I'll take a Palight

When will we get our codes?

Sunwayman V10A :)

I'm interested in the V10A

I'd like Sunwayman V10A. Thanks.

Now that they've offered a price break on the V10A I would say that's probably the best option. If offers a something unique compared to the rest in that it's a quality, variable output flashlight that is considerably more inexpensive next to leading competitors. But this is where I actually get some use out of CPF. I use the marketplace when I'm searching for the more expensive lights, which isn't often. But this is a great deal when you consider the retail price on these.

yes the deal on the V10A is incredible!

Hey Summer why is that ??

I had a few things I was considering buying and the prices jumped up about 30%..whats that about ?

Tank007 TK566 TK568 Aluminum Alloy Flashlight Extension was 2.99 earlier today and now it's $4.69 cents ...that's almost a 40% jump in price

I'm in for an ITP SA1 and a Palight

Thanks.

Ok just did a raw measurement, it is 461 lux in the hotspot for OTR X5 and 680 lux for the STL-V6. However a ceiling bounce yielded 91 and 93 lux respectively so both are driven as hard as it can be (somewhat brighter than a 980L actually due to much better heatsinking). PS, I just tried a DRY CW 3-mode DD and it was 395 lux for the hotspot after a 20 seconds wait, but people are commenting that it can't throw LOL!

But the Palight could have pretty good PWM if its the same driver. It should be over 400Hz even at the lowest setting. Still can detect that but much better than 98% of the budget stuff out there which are hovering in the 200Hz range. STL-V6 is bad, prob 150Hz or so.

hello, thanks for all your support here. i will give out the coupon codes to you on September 20th, so please pay attention to this topic at that time. i will tell you how to place the orders.
