While making a purchase I saw these batteries on the wall behind the counter. Anyone have any experience with these batteries. The 26650 & 18650’s I looked at were flat top and $19.99 for two. The 18650 was 2000mah, don’t remember the rating on the 26650.
They’ll probably get really cheap as the bankruptcy kicks in.

The RS at the mall near us closed down. I asked at this one and the manager said they’re one of the ones staying open. We’ll see. Curious as to the quality of the batteries?
I looked at these a couple months ago. Fine print said "made in China" so I put them back. There's plenty of lower cost, higher capacity, reputable cells to be had out there.
Considering that they are closing and you truly cannot know who the manufacturer is.. You are far better off to buy from a vendor on here.
For example:
Samsung Protected 18650-26F from Banggood is $18.65/4-pk (less 8% BLF code)
Same battery in KeepPower wrapper from Illuminations (USA Seller) is $7.60/ea (BUT CalvinIS WILL discount for us at BLF, especially when buying 4). Just as an FYI - I purchase my batteries from RMM, CalvinIS, and Banggood depending on who has what when I need it.
The point is that even if they give 50% off it is still not to your advantage. On the other hand, it would be a good time to look for solder and accessories, etc. :)

I’ve been buying KP 3100 direct from “bill” at doingoutdoor via email. He’s down to $8 a cell….I got 10 last time….Cell/IC Japan , assembled in China…

The New haven CT Radio Shack is down to 6 days left to closing. Today I bought 2 18650 2 pack button top w/chargers for $2.50 each. Also Artic Silver 2 pack for $4.00.
the 26650 are nothing special.

i have/had both the 26650 pair and 16340 pair.
The 26650s are ok. using the Pair to power a ROP hi bulb would not work as the bulb draws much more than the cells can handle. however they power a ROP low bulb fine and work fine in other lower amp draw lights. I just took one apart and removed the protection circuit and will shrink wrap it later and recharge and see if i can get more amp draw from it. I payed $3 each for the pairs as one of my local radio shacks closed. There is still 1 more shack and it will NOT be closing. I wish i had purchased more things from the store that closed 
s as for the 16340s they work great and power a triple XPG2 sportac without an issue.
Don’t waste your money on those 26650s unless you plan to use it to its specs, some of us like to push the envelop
