Anyone recommend a flooder?

I’ve been looking for a budget super flooder too, Unfortunately I haven’t found anything $100 or less that would be in the same realm as the Niwalker M15. (unless maybe you build it yourself) The Acebeam K40M is probably your best bet if you can get it for under $100 and want the tint of MT-G2.

Its not a dedicated flooder but my Blackshadow Terminator puts out quite a wall of light and has the tripod mount. $110 after BLF discount.

What about the solar storm at banggood?

I figured a flooder like the MM15 would be good to use at work. But at the $100 price point I wouldn’t be as worried about it getting stolen like I would with the MM15.

A light with triple XP-Ls and the wider Carclo optics is floody. How floody compared to the Niwalker M15 I can’t say, but it’s my floodiest light. It is however a single cell light which might not be what you’re looking for.

Yeah, multiple batteries would be a plus. Long runtime is preferable.

left field option. Buy 4-6 Zuesrays from Dealmetic.com

De-dome if you want a warmer tint.

Then tape together and tape to some kind of universal trip pod mount. Ok you’ll have 4-6 switches, but the trade off is very versatile light, even more so with the zooming and @ $7.99 each including shipping, 6 of them would only be $47.94

Any light and pull the reflector.

Thanks for the free plug!

@ WF, the light is complete and needs no work, all it needs is 4.35v cells (which I have but I don’t have a 4.35v charger) so I’m not able to run it at full power however it is a completed build. Ready to use out of the box.

Its not a flooder but a very good light that has an awesome mix between flood and throw.
Check the Roche M170 it got a handle/tripod, 4x18650 batteries and you can choose the tint.

I have a modded Niwalker vostro mtg2 I am selling. Really nice neutral tint since it was dedomed and current bumped. No need to worry about run time since it has a massive heatsink. Pop in some 3400mAh cells and you can run it for a long time. Stock UI, has a holster, stock accessories and original box. Its not as expensive as a MM15 and a little over $100 but if you are interested let me know and I can send photos and details.

Livinloud….I would be interested to see and maybe purchase the light. Send me some info please.

Will do after work. It was modded by Vinh54 on CPF and many here, well most here, lnow of him and his great work. Really does do top notch work and it shows in the quality of his product. Anyways will take more photos and send the ones I have with info on it in a few hours

I like Livinlouds light and may purchase it but I am unsure it has quite as much throw width as I would like since it has such a deep reflector.

I am still open to suggestions. The purpose for this light would be for when I work in a dark room that I could set it down or put it on a tripod and have it wash a wall (maybe 12 foot by 10 foot high) in light from around 10 feet away with no discernible hotspot. So something with like 120 degree spread from the bezel.

I wish there was something for flashlights like we have for home theater projectors…. you punch in the make and model. And a sliding bar would tell how wide the beam would be from any given distance. Say from 15 feet away the beam would have a 25 foot radius and from 5 feet away it would have a 7 foot radius etc…… with so many foot lamberts of light.

If you truly want “NO” hot spot and a widebeam

+1

and done.

True. And I have done that on occasion. However that probably isn’t great for a light exposed like that in a work environment…… or at least it may not last as long getting knocked around without protection.

To be fair, it’s pulling out the reflector, not the lens. As long as the LED’s MCPCB can be firmly attached to the pill or shelf it will still be protected from the elements.

With that said I like zoomies for pure flood. I use a host that has a nice wide beam. Works for me.

The one I used had a pretty deep head and so I took it off as well. I may just have to get an MM15 or an plight sr mini……

What about a SRK? They’re cheap and floody …

Noctigon Meteor M43… No price yet…

Steve yeah a SRK works pretty decent. I thought about getting another one and using them in tandem.

I will check out that noctigon one….

That noctigon one looks like an SR mini on steroids!!
