I am surprised that anyone expect quick delivery without paying for any shipping costs at all. Especially when ordering batteries and shipping is via surface mail.
If you are in a hurry, pay for faster delivery using some courier service. Or buy locally.
I order all my li-ion batteries from FT, and while delivery has been slow, the latest orders 2-3 months, no shipments have ever been lost. And the batteries are very good and cheap. I don't see any reason to change supplier.
I have ordered some batteries form FT on the 4th of January they shipped them on the 5th of January with a tracking number.
The order still haven’t arrived jet (1 month later). I am also getting a little bit impatient.
But I have some good news. Pay Pal has extended there buyers Protection from 45 days to 180 days. (starting 29 January).
So now the question arises, would my order be covered by the new buyers protection policy?
Edit:
Orderd: 4 of january
Delivered: 21 February
48 days before it the order was delivered. In my option that is slowtech… Also with the old Pay Pal policy I could not make a claim if it didn’t arrive.
I placed my order 3 weeks ago and paid for “USPS First-Class +$1.61 (8 to 12 days in transit typical)”. It was processed a week after I placed my order and 2 weeks later it’s still in China getting processed again? WTF?
I remember the days when Fasttech was pretty fast. I have dozens of orders from them, and it takes anywhere from 10 days to 2 months to arrive, but recently, orders with a batteries included takes a much longer.
By the way, one package from Manafont still holds the record. After 2 month they issued me a full refund (some $60, they customer suport has been always great for me, too bad they are gone), and after 9 months the package suddenly arrived at my door
Druže, i just hope you didn’t go Balkan Style and you paid them back for the products. Happened to me few times on eBay, then i repaid them back after the refund.
FT- last order came these days after 2 weeks only. Impressive, sometimes!
My last order took 2,5 months to get here… I just waited it out.
It was shipped after 1,5 weeks if I’m not mistaken, so if that’s true the problem lies with hongkong airmail.
Well… Placed an order during the CNY sale, 2 items indicated in stock but were not. I really wanted XP-E2 red leds, but waited weeks and they never came into stock. So I canceled them and 1 other item that never came into stock. Then Fasttech some how canceled the whole order, that slowed things down… Now that it has finally shipped, I think it will be the fastest shipping package from them yet. Will be here in 9 days.

I ordered some batteries from fasttech, now the tracking says:
Well, I contacted fasttech and they told me to wait a few days more “to update”. Has anynone experienced that before? I wouldn’t usually make such a fuss, but in there are my 18350 batteries, which I need before the middle of October and if the customs in Germany decide to mess around as well it could get critical.
I’ve got one that’s been stalled out at the post office for about a month. I’m starting to think the postman has converted my flashlight pocket clips into roachclips and I’ll never see them
Fritz, I’d be preparing myself to not get your batteries.
The airlines (ICAO) have clamped down on carrying batteries - I recently tried to order some from FastTech and they now have it set up so you can’t even pay if there are batteries in the order. They won’t even ship lithium primaries.
I questioned them, and they just said “we’re looking for another way”.
Just got worse, brought the problem to their attention and they said they would get the post office to review the issue. Suggested that I contact the post office. They’re saying the process can take 60 days. This is a really bad first impression.
