Just a few minutes ago I ordered a Tangspower Cree 7X XM-L U2 Gray :slight_smile:
Guess I’ll be able to test out their customer service first hand.

make an order 10 days ago and not shipped yet ……

product advertised as Shipping date : 1-2 days

they keep saying the product is restocking ………. while the same product on fasttech was restocked Two times in the last 10 days !!!

so far not very good service !

First order was amazingly took a long time to reach Oz.

Second order havenot arrived despite it was purchased in Oct14. Log a complaint and was told to wait another week (in Dec).

Had much better luck and service from the other competitor.

Just when I thought Gearbest could not get worse, it just did. So basically if you open a Paypal dispute with them in case you don’t receive your order, they will not ship new orders to you at all. They had not trouble taking my money though. Oh god I’m doomed, where will I buy my flashlight related products now? I’ve been banned from Gearbest lol !!!1111oneeleven

So go ahead and open disputes on the other orders.

My TangsPower shipped out on Feb 6th (from the Netherlands) and arrived on Feb 23rd (California).
So far the Tangspower has worked great.

Actually I’ve contacted their CS for a few times. Always via their site, never mentioned BLF or PayPal and all the issues had been resolved with no problems.

I ordered Skilhunt H02R, light arrived defective, what I described with details to CS…
After really long discussion, many comments and hard work with explaining what is wrong. What more also after contact directly with Skilhunt, I
got assurance that defective part will be sent to me. Case was closed by CS without any additional questions (I see that I’m not the first one treated like this…) but I was waiting patiently.

5 weeks later, still without package, I created new ticket, just to ask what is going one. Answer I just have got is ridiculous:

“I am sorry that item is not in the stock now,cloud you please wait it?”

Everything can happen, item may be wrong or defective, but such approach to customer can not happen…
I wonder when CS had intention to tell me that part was not shipped…

Still without working headlamp and without hope for good solution… (any one after 5 weeks will be mediocre)

I ordered some batteries and iPhone chargers from Gearbest on 1-15-15 and paid the extra $1.99 for tracking number. The order shipped on 1-19-15 and after 10 weeks it still has not arrived.
Using postnl the only tracking information is that it is pre advised. I opened a ticket with customer service and they offered to resend if I pay for tracking again. I don’t want to pay for another tracking number that doesn’t work.
I’ve had at least 7 or 8 orders with gearbest and only 1 tracking number has worked so far. This is the only problem I have had with them. The packages have always arrived. Shipping I usually slow but 70 days? Am I being unreasonable?

Shipping li-ion cells is a problematic, for example gearbest can not ship cells to me, I can buy only from one retailer and he is shipping via NL post office which is the worst. Li-ion cells take about 50 days at best to arrive and only tracking that I can see is when package enters my country, then it is registered in local tracking sistem…

Personally, so far gearbest has been great. First order I chose express shipping, 5 days at my door. Second time I figured I would test the “free shipping”.

3 weeks from order to door. Poor packing for a bike light “head only” solarstorm x3. Just in a padded envelope….cant believe it arrive undamaged.

I havent ordered batteries from china yet but prices in US arent far off so I dont see the point. Their a big hassle.

I have to say GB has better turnaround time than Kaidomain. 2 weeks for them to get my order to the postal service according to the tracking (though I had tracking within 72 hrs)

But to date, and Im about to place another order (I take the time to make sure what I want is in stock before I order, hate playing that game) all is great.

Is gearbest still active on this forum? I’ve sent csgearbest two messages inthe last month and they have yet to respond. Also I’ve noticed they have not responded to issues posted here lately.

After contacting Karen (gearbest) on BLF the issue was quickly resolved. Gearbest refunded the full payment. Another thanks to Karen and Gearbest for being committed to customer service and BLF.

On the recent Imalent DDT40 group buy, I ordered the US charger plug and received the EU plug. Others in the thread reported similarly receiving the wrong plug — EU instead of US and vice versa.

I reported the problem to GB, with a pic of my package and the charger, on March 29. On March 31 I was offered either an adapter or a $2 credit. I chose the adapter and received no response. Followed up with them yesterday, after a week, and was told the adapter will be shipped “soon” and to allow 30 days in-transit time. They made an obvious error but are in no hurry to correct it.

On the Courui D01 group buy, I purchased a tracking number for $1.99. The provided number never had any tracking, and GB finally admitted that due to an internal problem the tracking numbers they were issuing weren’t any good. Apparently they had known this for awhile but continued selling the bad numbers. They asked if I wanted a refund for the bogus tracking number. ASKED.

Nice products, good prices, need to focus more on service. Typical of the old saying: Good price, good product, good service — pick any two.

Well my rating for GB went from 5 stars to 1-2stars as of today. First emails have been ignored this week, then I pay the increased price for what is supposed to be the newest version of the yinding light. Only to get the old version. And at that they shipped me one with a broken mount and scratched face plate. At least the NW tint is correct. I’m gonna give them one more chance to make this disaster right and if they don’t they loose all my business (which sucks they were top of my list for lights and battery cases, had a order I was putting together but not anymore)

the improved button and mount only for the blue and red yindings and some units for Cool White full setting yinding ( there are also some old ones for the Cool White full setting ) , others are the ones without the improved button and mount.
