Wow! Those mods are incredible! Great job and great results!

Awesome job Dale. thanks for sharing.

whoah…13K lumens…jeez!

Really great mods.

Thanks for showing.

Nice job!

Impressive, thanks for the pics!

Is it just me or the image #6 and #7 is the same?

They are the same.

Sorry about that, fixed image 7 with the proper image. I was tired and easily confused. That’s my story, and I’m sticking with it! :stuck_out_tongue:

When I laid out the lights and numbered them with a piece of tape so I could keep it all straight I did so based on what I thought they put out. A couple of these are new builds, so I missed the order of power. In presenting them here, I wanted to go up in lumens so I flipped the order on a couple. Messed up on that last one, really was tired and getting lost in it all! It turns into quite a chore doing 8 lights and writing it up! lol

Then I went back and took pics of each ones reflector/optic so it’d be easy to visualize what the differences were and relate that to the output. Had to then upload and add those. You’d think that with 90 lights I’d be getting good at this by now! The memory issue really is that bad, I can forget in less time than I can memorize and I lose track of what I was doing. Sucks getting old and being flashaholically challenged.

A tip for those on a computer… I like to click each image and open them in new windows then move between em and see the differences. This lets the full detail of what is different come “shining” through. These are sized at 1600x1200.

Don't worry, we forgive you. :)

Once.

...

Just once.

Great achievement Dale. Very nice job.

Regards

Great lights. Thanks for the beamshots!

These are amazing Dale…thanks for sharing your results!

Nice comparisons between too much light and too much light

Is that a 621 optic in #5 Don’t think there is a 507 quad
All very nice but the BTU shocker is just plain RYdiculous

Great job Dale!
Your flashlights are like a John Force Top Fuel funny car.
Just WOW

I take that as high praise, as these lights put that John Force smile on your face.

The new quad optic is a Ledil C12285-S in 34mm spot.

all those x6’s are really something else. u hold the record for brightest x6’s thats for sure. that x6 with the custom tube and xhp70 is incredible. nice looking beam also. great job there!
and that shocker needs a name, it really do deserve one haha. man , it musta been reflex or something, cus when i got to that beam shot, i squinted my eyes like it was real life. hahah

thanks for the time you took to show us these great pictures and of your masterpieces!

So it’s shorter than cute-3/4 but taller than gt4?

You are right Scott, thanks for noticing that, i was curious if it was the same hight as the cute-4.
The C12285_ANGIE-S is 10,67 mm + 1,45mm & the cute-4 ss is 15mm + 1,5mm.

As far as i can see the GT4 is shorter than the C12285_ANGIE-S

Another thing i noticed in the data sheet is the C12285_ANGIE-S
support a lot of different led’s

LED Viewing Angle Beam efficiency cd/lm
Z5 sim: 10 Spot sim: 92 % sim: 19.000 -
LUXEON H50-2 sim: 16 Spot sim: 93 % sim: 8.000 -
Oslon SSL 150 10 deg Spot 94 % 17.000 -
XP-E 11 deg Spot 91 % 14.700 -
Oslon SSL 80 12 deg Spot 93 % 11.000 -
Oslon Square EC 14 deg Spot 94 % 8.300 -
XP-G 15 deg Spot 93 % 8.020 -
LUXEON T 15 deg Spot 93 % 7.600 -
LUXEON TX 15 deg Spot 92 % 8.100 -

So it is not 11 degrees on a xp-g emitter but 15 degrees, so i guess even a little more from the bigger xp-l led.
