The BLF worldwide geocache! Let's get the box round the world! BOX EN ROUTE

I say let’s get this rolling soon if no one else joins and you can add anyone else later. This is a great idea!

I’m happy to post whenever, I was just waiting for the full 20 incase it gets to the last person and they have no one to post to

I'd like to be in on this. Sounds like it could be a fun little adventure

Done!

Bump

another bump, will most likely post the box to the first person at the beginning of next week, even if we don’t have all 20 places!

There will likely be more subscribers once the photos and stories come in for it.

I hope so! And if all goes well a round 2 :stuck_out_tongue:

I'd love to join in guys but the funds are not available at this point in time. My purse strings have been tied shut for awhile. All the best for the world trip and looking forward to reading about the parcels exploits.

I checked International shipping rates for USPS from my ZIP code to the UK, came out to about $15. Not too bad. But if you want tracking, it bumps you up to Priority Mail, $39.95.

In case anyone from the US is wondering.

50-80$ shipping from us to philippines? Uk is further but why is it cheap?

USPS must be trolling me right?

Use the drop down option to select something other than Priority Mail. First Class, which is basically normal mail, is only about $15-16USD. But you do not get Tracking Information for that cheap of shipping option.

The box will be posted (most likely) on Thursday to DBSAR! If anyone wants to be added (or removed) from the list let me know!

Awaiting its arrival

The box will be making its maiden voyage tomorrow from the UK to Canada!
feel free to draw on the box, write your name (would be good to have everyones on by the end) add stickers etc! do anything, as long as you keep the same box!
I’ve also added a split ring if anyone wants to add a keyring that will travel with the box
hope it goes well and ill look forward to seeing the box and its journey again soon!

!!

I will definitely add a Canadian Flag decal once it arrives here.

Think it would be cool to add a bumper sticker, something local like a national park, sports arena, or something of the sorts to the box

It giet oan!

(legendary words from Henk Kroes in the Friesian language, by which he announced the going through of the 15th Elfstedentocht, a rare skating event that is as important in the Netherlands as the soccer world Cup)

Nice looking box! Looking forward to follow its journey around the World. Good luck guys!

I’ve just dropped the box off at the post office, it’s journey has begun!
Remember people can still join in, just let me know and I’ll add you to the list!
