Oooh! http://www.uniquetitanium.com/SS-Jumbo-Clip-58mm_p_689.html

So much stuff I want!!!

Very nice. It also looks like you could put the split ring at the bend in the clip so the clip and the light would sit parallel in the pocket and not as deep. I have some small lobster claws from ChicagoX as well as a few of the mini biners from Hank but that clip looks like a nice alternative.

I’ve mostly used the spring-loaded ones, and I made one myself before, I will dig up a picture. That being said, I found some on ebay just now for around $0.80 to 1 searching edc clip. These look like the banggood ones, without the extra holes drilled that the CNQG one has, but for the price, I’ll bite.

I got my clips in a couple days ago. Nice for the price. I now have one on 2 small lights and my key rings. They didn’t have split rings, so I am looking into buying some small oval ones. Any size suggestions (4x8 mm or 5x10 or 6x12)? Smaller is better right? And anyone want to split the order of 50 or 100 of them?

Got a bulk order of some small oval rings for sale in smaller quantities if anyone is interested.

HBomb is my new hero, for making those available.
Scream and leap!

I hate digging in my pocket for stuff or to have those things rattle. I prefer to have all my lights, knives and keys suspended.

I need more. I’ll have to check HBomb’s sale.

The red Inova 2x2016/1x2032 light I have been carrying for ten years or more has a pocket clip that I use on my shirt. Guess I’ll try a clip on some other light.

Clip from CQG vs. clip from Banggood

That from BG I like much better - smaller, lighter, cheaper, springy (the other one barely springy but very stiff). From over side you should spent 2 minutes to remove burrs and the keyring hole is very small - only thin key rings will fit. The CQGs’ one is stronger and oval keyring included.

Thanks for the side by side pics and comparison!

I prefer the ones from CNQG because I put the longer straight/flat side inwards — less likely to dig in and bruise than the curved-out side.

If I fall on or bump something, if I have that little curved bit on the inside, it’s going to concentrate the force rather than spread it out.

And since the little curved bit on the CNQG one has a hole in it, that works fine placed on the outside for attaching whatevers.

(yeah, if I fall on the light or keys or knife that’ll bruise too — but it’ll be spread out, not concentrated onto a point pointed inward)

CNG says quantity "5". Does that mean how many they have on hand or how many pieces you get in one order?

EDIT: Nevermind. It's quantity on hand.

EDIT2: Thanks for your report in Post 28 lg. Much appreciated. :)

I had the CNQ, way too stiff. I had to bend it out to make it usable. The Bangood one looks just like a Tec P7 suspension clip ($10-14). I’ll have to check it out! Thansk for the tip.

I just received mine from bg and I had no idea where to put mine lol

Left pocket clipped all the way back left EDC.

I too had to pry the CNQ clips a bit wider — wedge and hammer! Very stiff metal.

If the smaller ones had a hole at the curved-up tip on the short side I’d prefer them.

The ones I got from BG have the holes off center. It doesn’t bother Me too much, but still…

I use them a lot - It's so convenient to blindly reach down and grab your key or light right from the top of your pocket. I like being able to reclip with one hand, so the springy clip would be one I go for.

The “BG” type without the hole in the bent-out/shorter side are down to under 90 cents each on Ebay.

The ones I prefer - with the extra hole at the end of the bent-out leg (see red arrow in picture in response 1) — are hard to find, I still buy them from CNQG despite costing over $3 apiece.

Yeah, those with that extra hole (CNQG tyle) are definitely stiff and need a little work with a big wedge to open them slightly. They still grip really tight with a bit more gap added.
