8.4v P7 driver

I want one But of course Which one is worth my $$$$ any ideas experience???

Looking at Ian’s database, there doesn’t seem to be an awful lot of choice and the few usable ones don’t come cheap.

Too true, hoping its out of date or some drivers have improved... may have to take pot luck...

Take a look over on Jayki.com. There was recently reference to 2.8A drivers.

they where all 4.2v that i could see.. Found one @KD that may do ( 1 positive review using 2 x 18650's)http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=7947

That looks like an interesting find. Please let us know how it works out for you.

new to the forum, but been watching it for some time

Will post beam shots give tailcap readings as soon as I have the bits.

DX has a SSC P7 8.4v driver Im currently using @ over 10v , http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.20330

I cant believe its still going , but it seems like a decent driver for the money ...

The batts are now at 3.8v and it still pulling 1.2a down from 1.35a when they were both at 4.2v not to bad I guess?
