- The great list of "****fire" Flashlights.

Meifire is definitely a new one. That looks like somewhat cloned from a Nitcore model.

I ordered that light hoping to get a genuine “Meifire”, no luck. What actually arrived was an “E-Smart”.
VERY dissapointed! :_(

What has the world come to!

How was the “Nitecore clone” light overal? ( quality, function, etc.

I could put together a review if people are interested, wasn’t sure if anyone had done one before.
I basically wanted it as a host for a RGBW project light that will be controlled by an integrated analogue stick.

It’s pretty decent for the money, provided you like kinda purple anodizing! :stuck_out_tongue:
I haven’t looked into the functionality yet but here’s some thoughts.

Pros:

  • 5 mode momentary interface, standard stuff. Fairly fast 1khz pwm
  • XML2, well centered/focused, nice beam profile. Cool 1X tint of course.
  • Nice looking blue backlit battery charge?? indicators. Not sure if they work.
  • Seems to have two USB ports on the bottom. Charge and output seems like.
  • Feels relatively well put together on first look.

Cons:

  • Terrible threads on the battery tube. Engage ok but very chewed up ends.
  • Glued front end of battery tube, badly glued on mine so it opened up. May be more permanent on others
