OK so far the difference between the two NANJG 105's :

SKU: S009742     $4.7       Product added on    February 24 2011         http://kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=10995#

SKU: S004338     $6.63       Product added on   April 5 2011                 http://kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=1770

Which one have you guys bought?    I asked if anyone knows the difference, but I guess that's going to be hard to answer to.

I have bought tons of the 105Cs. Take one for the team and order the other one so we all know what it is.

I've bought the $4.70 one several times. It is a good board with different mode groups available. The more expensive one (from the pictures) doesn't seem to have a microcontroller, so it *should* be a 1-mode 2.8A board (one of the reviews indicates it has modes, so either they are shipping something different or the review is for the wrong product). The second one may have a 2011 date, but the reviews go back to 2009.

I bought a few 5 packs (alot cheaper) and worked fine. I managed to kill one of the amc to get 350mA less draw for a comission speciality flashlight and the owner was happy for the added runtime and less heat and not much less output. At least not easily percieved drop in brightness.

You mean, a few 5 packs of the 105C, which are alot cheaper as the Kaidomain price? Do you have a link?

It's this product http://kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=10995

just that here you buy 5 pcs

http://kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=11088

If you buy 5 of the first link you pay $22.15  (that's the price for 5+)

But if you want to buy the 5 pcs pack you pay $21.79

I know the 5 Pack of Kaidomain, thank you.Smile

But if he speaks about "alot cheaper" I think he doesn't mean save only $0,36 for 5 driver.

I think he refers to buying the one that costs $6.63 a piece. x5 = $33.15

So when you compare it that way it is a lot cheaper.

That's what I think since on CPF some users thought that only the $6.63 SKU is the only 8*AMC7135 driver.

I think the free of duty limit is set by the EU. The UK version is £18 which is roughly the same amount. But our Post Office doesn't seem to care much about stuff from China. Up until now, I have never had any order queried or opened. And I doubt Customs here are all that bothered.

He is from Denmark and he has troubles getting a dropin which is roughly 17usd... that picked my interest.

The limit is 10€ (incl postage!). Over this: 25% wat and 22 € handlingfee to postalservice for collecting this for the customs.

Ouch! That is low. The USA the last time I looked allowed $100.

The UK limit is also including postage, but I thought all of the EU now had the same Customs regulations.

Here it functions this way: If the EU regulations are to the benefit of the population or customers,

its the national rules that apply. If EU rules benefits the State the national rules dont apply!!

We're lucky here in Australia, anything under $1000 doesn't attract any duty Smile

Has anyone had issues when adding 7135s to these you loose the modes or did I just get a bad batch of drivers from KD they are 105c?

If they worked before adding 7135s, it's more likely you produced a short circuit. Check with a multimeter.

Is it true. I have this driver on a XML and when battery is low, it starts blinking.

On the newer version of this driver the 105c it kicks down to The lowest mode when the battery gets low. I am not sure if it starts to flash eventually but when mine kicks to low for the second or third time I change it out. I don't like to push my batteries and I always carry a spare battery so it might start flashing in low but I am not sure.

Changed this to a Manafont XM-L dropin, very pleased. PWM is non-existent, takes solid 2,78A on High.

On med, quite loud whining but thats not a problem for me. Low is weak enough.

Yes second star from right to left, 3 modes no strobe.

The first star is also strobe-less, 2 modes.

first- 2 modes (100%-20%)

second - 3 modes (100%-35%-4%)

The percentages are according to the OP.

However I've seen several taobao sellers saying,

100%-10%

100%-30%-5%

They could be referring to the older 105A. Pretty close specs anyway.

Glad to help. Same here, two modes appreciated, especially with that percentage difference.

Yepppers. It could just be me but some mid modes are to high and some low modes are just to low and i just don't get eppo modes (strobe or s.o.s). I should of brought more 105c's to play with but two modes sound great to me.

Thanks for your time.
