JAX X6 Hunter XHP50

Admittedly I don’t know much about Jax, but I got the impression they’re actually pretty good at offering their lights as bare hosts.
The Z1 is available as a shell and even the lens is available separate which is quite amazing. The Mini C8 is also host only (although I have yet to get a shipping confirmation on mine).

But you don’t think this one will be coming out as a host option? That would be a shame…

I doubt it as of now, maybe down the road when the XHP50/70 frenzy dies down? Who knows? We can only HOPE! I for one would buy the (host) say if it was around $40.00 max, build it just to keep for myself? But its hard for me to justify the price, since I bought a K40M for $80.00 shipped in December, you know what I mean……Richard has the Supfire L3’s for $29.00. I’m going to try those next. But it is a very B.A. looking light!

Like it but the price is too high for a non premium brand.

this one is also on my "request-a-code-list" - stay tuned...

This light would have been better off with a side switch.

This light is practically screaming out to have an MT-G2 installed

Anything on this yet M4X? Possibly as a HOST??

Keep us informed… this as a host would be awesome.

it’s still on my list of requests…

Still interested…coupon,host,multiples discount?

Hmmm…catch up time for me…

What are the advantages of XML2-U2 XHP 50 or 70 over an XML2-U2? Clearly it is a bigger (5mx5m) led, pumps out a heap more lumens - double - with maybe shorter range like an MTG-2? Sounds just like an MTG-2 - how is it different?

Does it have a nice hotspot like an XML2-U2 can have in a bigger head - and would it transplant into a Maxtoch 2X with good results? Advantages/disadvantages? Runtimes compared with XML2-U2? At 2500 lumens would likely need new driver as well as led board? The data I can find:

Jax Hunter looks interesting though very heavy at 650gms + 2 x 26650s = getting up towards 1kg mark.

Will let you guys know a little more about this light once I receive this light… it shipped last week already

i posted a Code on 16.3.” in my deals thread”:M4D M4X deals - Astrolux WP1 and WP2 LEP

Thanks Max didn’t see that, the price is good if I wanted a XHP50. How about a Host? I don’t want to strip the emitter and driver out of it, got a box full of gut’s laying in the closet.

For those who are interested, X6 hunter host: http://www.banggood.com/JAX-X6-Hunter-Tacltical-LED-Flashlight-Shell-Host-26650-p-976049.html

I’m not sure if to order now or wait, it is way too expensive.

EDIT: just realized it has been mentioned in DayLighter’s review.

Can we get a code for the Host??? Looking at getting 3 possibly more…….

I just ordered a host from Banggood using M4D M4X’s code and it worked quite easily. Thank you!

Now where did I put that Q0 MT-G2……

Kawi, this one’s largely on you… you made it sound like a light I absolutely had to have so I hope you’re happy now! :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s a MAN’s Light indeed!! Could be used in CQB!!!

I could zip back in time and give a Jax X6 Hunter to Samson and he could wipe out the army with a fine light instead of the jawbone of an ass.

I have one of Richards buck drivers on the way, as it turns out, so I might use that driver here to run an HI emitter. Not sure, will have to look at the options and figure it out. I do like the idea of an MT-G2 in it, but sight-unseen it’s just difficult to say.
