1100 + METERS BEAMSHOT WITH COURUI ! ! !

Unfortunately currently do not own a good camera, pictures are taken with a cheap Olympus VR 340, and I bet it would look 5 times better that I took pictures with some better camera. weather conditions were not ideal, because of the low cloud cover and weak drizzle. Also street lighting reduces the effective range of a flashlight.

This is a well known resistor removed mode , I am using 20 AWG silicone wires, all springs are bridged, and my own made
copper pill is inside. Dedomed XM-L2 U3 1A on 20mm Noctigon with fully charged 3 x Panasonic 18650PF 2900mAh is pushed to 5 Amps. Also there is no moon mode like other members did have. Main reason this is happening because -(minus ) wire is touching
something it should not !!

Here are some photos …
Enjoy ….

Nice work, putting that copper to good use!

Stock driver?

Yes STOCK  only R200 resistor removed

I gotta get me one of these. Why didn’t you use an XP-L rather than an XM-L?

I dont think there would be much improvement with XP-L, and its much harder to focus, XM-L2 U3 bin is bright enough for me.
But why not give it a try !!

I always enjoy this kind of long-range beamshots, thank you! You did a great job on the mod and the photography as well.

great pictures!

Can you explain why you have bridged the tail wires and what have you done with the solder and wire over the 2 screws?
Have you still added braid/wire to the springs?

Thanks for the info.

Well the screws are very poor quality so I have inserted peace of same wire used for springs into the screw holes, tighten them down and put some solder over the top. Every contact on the tail is bridged and now reacts as a solid body. I did this to the driver
also for the better contact with the head…… 8)
