Bugsy's Eagle Eye A6 BLF SE Giveaway, WINNER! Scotlarock! PM Me!

Hello,

With my post count climbing ever higher, it’s giveaway time again. This time I’ll try to help out Bugsy with his Eagle Eye A6 group buy, it’s taking forever and the natives are getting restless so here’s a giveaway of the sample light after I modified it to meet the intended group buy specs. This one is the sample light, it doesn’t have BLF SE on it, but it’s set up to all the specs of what that light should be.

Not trusting my memory, I stuck it in the Lightbox with a rested LG HE-2 cell. This showed 1490.4 lumens and a tail measurement showed 6.23A. The same emitter it came with, but on a Noctigon. XP-L.

Wights board, TK’s A6 firmware, it reverses, has the hidden loop and 7 modes default with a 4 mode group optional, selected by multiple clicks on the switch til it quits responding, a pause, a blink, 4 instead of 7 with the lowest the same as mode 2 in the larger group.

I’ll get amperage and lumens measurements on all the modes here shortly and add em in here.

Please only apply to this giveaway if you’re a member of the group buy. I’ll do the drawing on the 27th, my Mom’s 81st birthday. If the winner is not in Bugsy’s list, that pick will be tossed and a redraw will occur.

Be creative, keep it clean, and please only post once. This will keep your odds better as well as everyone elses, as random.org doesn’t care about how many times you entered only how many entries there are. The fewer the better the odds.

Let the games begin!

EDIT: Some clarification.

I will ship it to the winner. As long as the winner isn’t summer vacationing on Mars.

I will play the lottery, if I win, I will personally deliver it to the winner.

I’ve seen that there is some confusion as to the way the UI functions. This UI features a reversing capability that I’ve never seen with a tail clicky light. It works by using a manual pause when bumping the reverse clicky. It will work with a forward clicky, even a twisty, but either of those makes it somewhat more difficult to master. The reverse clicky is easy as banana pudding. Click the light on with a hard press and a click of the switch. A soft press or bump moves modes forward, as usual. But a longer pause in the off part of that bump, .5 sec to 1.5 sec in delay, caused the mode to reverse. In the chart reverse is a dotted line. This is important as it’s the only way to access the hidden loop where the strobe and battery check feature are located.

Battery check can be left on and used as a beacon.

Writing it down makes it seem complicated but it’s really very intuitive to anyone used to using a reverse clicky flashlight. MUCH easier than the waltz.

The photo of a cake literally covered in candles, wicks blazing and smoke billowing, makes me realize we might need to bring in a Fireman for this birthday cake. Mom thanks you all for your well wishes and laughed hard at the thought of the Fireman being necessary.
