Test/Review of Amazon Basic AAA 750mAh (White)

Amazon Basic AAA 750mAh (White)

Official specifications:

  • Minimum capacity: 750 mAh
  • Nominal voltage: 1.2V
  • Low self discharge (LSD)

Maximum temperature raise at different discharge currents: 1A:+2,2°C, 2A:+5,4°C, 3A:+8,2°C, 5A:+12,0°C

Amazon low self discharge AAA batteries, these are the low capacity ones from Japan, they probably have very good LSD capabilities, but Amazon has not included the specifications for it.

Nice discharge curves, but as usual small cells are not good at high currents.

Conclusion

The cell has very good performance.

Compare to other AA/AAA batteries: Alkaline/NiMH/Lithium

Thanks for this HKJ. Good to know there is a good, and easily obtainable, alternative to eneloops for AAA’s.

Thanks for the test. Do you think they are re branded eneloops? I know that has been done before. Seems like they may be?

Being from Japan I will say then probably are (or is it rebranded Fujitsu?)

He did a AA test too, and IIRC, the consensus or implication as is here, is they are probably Eneloops.

Edit: NINJAS

Nice review. I have some of these cells. They work very well.
