Shadow JM35: MT G2 one one cell!!

Why is it more expensive than the Jm30?

Well, you could ask the seller, but I presume that the driver is more expensive and the fact that there are very few MT G2 lights that work with just one cell is a marketing factor as well…….

This will no doubt be cheaper later on but I know of only two one-cell MT G2 lights at this time: Fenix PD40 (around $95) and this one.

yes, please let us know all about it, thanks.

A flashlight with boost driver that delivers 3A to a MT-G2 is indeed quite rare, and with 2000 lumen at 3A it is a bit too efficient, I wonder if it is OTF lumen or ledlumen (I could measure the output sometimes for you). I think it is a very nice general purpose light :-) .

You can swap it with an XHP-70 too!

But boost driver are normally inefficient isn’t it?

Well, if I take a look at your MT G2 crash test table, an MT G2 receiving 3A give just 2000 Led Lumen, just. But even then, around 1450-1500 ANSI should remain and at 3A it will defenitely not get hot.

Like you said, a nice all purpose light. Not too big or bulky, decent runtime, easy to use and having an MT G2 the tint will probably be nice too.

Byteway: I had difficulties ordering from EDC-Light.com, and I saw that CN Quality Goods sell it now too. I will order it there.
Of course, same price

Thanks for posting this, been looking at the JM30 but this looks better. Now we just need a better price and discount code, Banggood

I would like to see that to, but I don’t own a PD40 so . . . . .

Why not in a tube light you ask? Well, a tube light might not appeal to everyone and if the Led gets warm a bigger head with more cooling fins will be abel to dissapate the heat much better that a tube light.

Having said that, on the German forum (TLF) several mods of tube lights with MT G2 have appeared.
These lights are a lot of fun and have a hughe WOW factor but they are defenitely not suitable for the average flshlight user……

Definitely Beamshots comparisons!

3 mode S6. I also have one direct drive. Great lights

iam just waiting, which model will be the smallest…with mtg…something like convoy i would like to get.
now we have time to wait to a new harvest of the new generation of flashlites…iam hungry for surprises:))
chinese-hurry up:))

already working on that

Aren't those websites run by the same person? Ric. I don't know I am asking.

yep.. same!

I’m curious if this can run on 2x26650 using the JM30 Ext. tube.

I emailed CNQG for answer.

I’m not. I specifically like the short version that runs on only one cell.
Compact, side switch, plenty light, decent cooling fins, just neat.

And it will defenitely NOT use the same driver as the JM30, because that one can only run an MT G2 on two cells, and it doesn’t have a side switch.
Still, the JM35 MIGHT run on two cells but I am not going to test that, risking a dead driver.

Maybe someone with the right knowledge and equipment can do that? Djozz maybe?
I’ll ask him when I have the lamp.

Uuh, don't know how to test a driver on two cells and not risk killing it.

That would be great, i would buy that kind of a FL definately

And 10x again for your efforts m8, i use your codes frequently

+1

For whoever is interested.

A few weeks ago I bought this driver to see if it will power an mtg2 from 1 cell.

Initial test was a success. A few weeks later, I see kd have a range of xhp drivers based on the original one I bought.
