Guys, it was a joke…
There is no bike holder for lights like K40M, you have to make one …

Look for something like this: 404 | Topeak. There are cheaper versions out there.

Attach that to your bike, and lay the K40M across the bike handle bars and the BarXtender.

Use to secure it to the bars.

Make sure the Velcro is long enough to around the body tube and/or head.

Still might be a bit to jiggly but it should work.

Tried it with a TK35 once.

I could pay someone who is kind enough to help machine for me a custom tripod mount for the light? Just an outer casing to hold the light in and a screw hole for a tripod? That way i can use it anywhere! ;p

Hope I don’t offend you but why bring an elephant gun to a knife fight?

Isn’t it easier/cheaper/lighter/cleaner looking to use 1x18650 lights? You could carry spare batteries if needed. Of course you can carry the K40M in your backpack or seat bag if you wanted to bring it along. I sometime will bring my modded Jacob A60 w/ XM-L2 in the backpack, it also doubles as a spare battery carrier.

I should not talk… I have 4000 lumens on the bar, 3000 on the helmet. Elephant indeed. But I haven’t always used those lights. I also plan to try the A6 and the S2+ on the helmet when I get them.

you need to install a stronger bolt to send you the original that you then may initiate tighter.

Also you have to remove the rubber inside the clamp then your k 40 between them.

It’s a decent lite and easy on the wallet. Real good value for a bar mounted bicycle light.

I think I might reinforce it with tape. Okai light mounts for now is solved. Will look for more to mount the jet beam and sunwayman

Current lights on the bike.
Will get beamshots once i go riding again :slight_smile: Maybe saturday night. Got a 7km event on saturday. If I’m too tired by then I’ll have to go on the next week :frowning:
