A survey of flasholic's age

There is nothing left anymore to learn the hard way.

Things that you buy now won’t wear out.

Your supply of brain cells is finally down to a manageable size.

You no longer think of the speed limit as a challenge.

Your investment in health insurance is finally paying off.

You can quit trying to hold in your stomach no matter who walks into the room.

Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can’t remember them anyway.

You can sing along with elevator music.

Your joints are more accurate meteorologists than the guy on the television.

Your eyes won’t get too much worse.

Kidnappers are not very interested in you.

People call you at 9 p.m. and ask, “Did I wake you ”

You can get into a heated argument about flashlights.

You forgot, um, something. I’m sure of it. Where are my glasses, dammit.

I knew this failing memory would come in handy sooner or later. It makes denial so much easier.

I’m too old to know everything so I just have to get by on what I’ve learnt over my 61 years…….

I was born too late to explore the earth and too early to explore space.

But right on time to witness and experience the evolution of flashlights!!

Brains of older people are slow because they know so much .

People do not decline mentally with age. It just takes them longer to recall facts because they have more information in their brains, scientists believe . Much like a computer struggles as the hard drive gets full up, so too do humans take
longer to access information, it has been suggested .

Researchers say this slowing down it is not the same as cognitive decline .

The human brain works slower in old age, said Dr. Michael Ramscar, but only because we have stored more information. Over time, the brains of older people do not get weak. On the contrary, they simply know more .

Also, older people often go to another room to get something and when they get there, they stand there wondering what they came for. It is NOT a memory problem, it is nature’s way of making older people do more exercise .

SO THERE!!

60 years old and can’t remember what I voted for…

I've gone from one age group to the next since I've been here ...

Finally a survey that puts me in the top 10% :crown:

Yesterday (20 / May) was my birthday; I turned 59 years old and now I’m in my sixtieth year.
Celebrated modestly also because my wife and my three daughters were elsewhere.

Greetings to everyone.

My birthday was May 2nd, I turned 63. I still feel like I'm in my 20's

You know you are getting old when your back goes out more than you do.

Or astrological…

Buon Compleano! ,I will be 55 on Quattro Giugno.[4th of June]

I have lots of relatives in Italy. Several Cugino in Roma[Appia Antica]!,Prima Porta,Ascoli Piceno, Acquasanta,San Benedetto, Offida

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride!'
