Hope I don’t offend you but why bring an elephant gun to a knife fight?

Isn’t it easier/cheaper/lighter/cleaner looking to use 1x18650 lights? You could carry spare batteries if needed. Of course you can carry the K40M in your backpack or seat bag if you wanted to bring it along. I sometime will bring my modded Jacob A60 w/ XM-L2 in the backpack, it also doubles as a spare battery carrier.

I should not talk… I have 4000 lumens on the bar, 3000 on the helmet. Elephant indeed. But I haven’t always used those lights. I also plan to try the A6 and the S2+ on the helmet when I get them.

you need to install a stronger bolt to send you the original that you then may initiate tighter.

Also you have to remove the rubber inside the clamp then your k 40 between them.

It’s a decent lite and easy on the wallet. Real good value for a bar mounted bicycle light.

It is decent light worth the price.

I think I might reinforce it with tape. Okai light mounts for now is solved. Will look for more to mount the jet beam and sunwayman

Current lights on the bike.
Will get beamshots once i go riding again :slight_smile: Maybe saturday night. Got a 7km event on saturday. If I’m too tired by then I’ll have to go on the next week :frowning:

Wrath - just curious but why the need for 3 handlebar lights? I understand having 2, one for a spare just in case but 3?

I’ve tried those silicone bands that you have, had to use 2 bands to hold one 18650 light and it was ok at best, still plenty bouncy. Thus I got the Fenix mount and it’s light years better.

Wish I could have my K40Mvn mounted on my head while riding at night. I think that’s a lost cause though.

With so many lights on at the same time you must have 20 18650’s to charge at the end of your ride. :slight_smile:
