Battery recommendation for 26650?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation for 26650 batteries from a seller I can receive shipment from relatively quickly. I got an archon d22 dive light and ordered some battered but they havent been delivered in over a month. Sonim looking to buy some again but I don’t want to wait. I see Amazon and eBay carry them but there are a bunch of options/capacities…. Confusing and frustrating. Thanks!

Mtn Electronics. Check out King Kongs or Efest. Make sure you get the right cell, button top or flat top for your intended use.

Call them with any questions. Their service is Top Notch! I ALWAYS check with them first. I have had dozens of perfect orders.

You will thank me later.

BTW: NEVER NEVER BUY Ebay/Amazon CELLS. Unless you really know what you are doing.

Edit: Here is a link

Thanks!

I’ll second the service at Mtn. Electronics. I’ve ordered quite a few Noctigon stars and Qlite drivers from them and they’ve shipped quick and no issues.

I’ll also second the advice on the Amazon/Ebay cells. A lot of the deals ‘look’ good, but in the long run it’s wasted money. There are exceptions of course. I was fortunate and found a dealer with good Trustfire Flame 26650’s that have been working well for me in my A8’s and F13’s. But future purchases will be on better cells.

In Northern California, NOBODY is going to be able to get anything to you quicker than Illumination Supply. They are located in San Jose, and may actually be within driving distance for you. If not, you can get it shipped within a day or two. As far as batteries, the best battery depends on what you want. But for flashlight use, probably the best cells are going to be King Kongs or Keeppower 5200mAH cells. The King Kongs are better at higher draw, but the Keeppowers definitely win out if you need higher capacity. The King Kongs are rated at 4000mAH. But this rating is conservative, and it produces more like 4200-4300mAH. There is also a King Kong 26700 with 5000mAH (also conservative). If your light can fit a slightly larger cell, this would be a good way to go. But Illumination Supply doesn’t have these. As far as I know, only Mountain Electronics does. That means waiting an extra day or two to get them.

Again, I have these and they are high drain with good capacity and an unbeatable price. I have 6 of them. And they will get to you by Saturday or before if you order them today.

Ilium supply is a good choice too. I concur with Matts idea.

I think Mountain Electronics may have the edge over Illumination Supply when it comes to battery selection. But if you live in Northern California and Illumination Supply has what you want, they DEFINITELY have the home field advantage of being able to get it to you quicker (or even make local pickup a possibility).

Do you need protected or unprotected? Illumination supply or mtn electronics if you want to buy from a US company. If you are looking for protected with good run time, look at DXsoul at the Soshine 5500mah. I use them in all my 26650 lights that I don’t direct drive as they are legitimately 5400-5500mah. Protection kicks in at 6-7A. DXsoul has 4 for $32 which is about the best deal going for the capacity. Shipping usually take 10-14 days.

Thanks,I need too.

I just got these in yesterday

I saw that,thanks!
