Back to the XP-L HI, I was supposed to have some coming but I received regular XP-L’s on accident. Those got returned so now back to waiting for the HI’s to be stocked again.

At least Mouser has them in stock now, so it should be only a matter of time before they show up all over the place

How do you decipher those part numbers? XPLAWT-H1-0000-000BU40E5 the E5 means it can be any of the 5 bins, right? That matches the given 4000k temperature.

Any of the 5B 5C 5A 5D tints, they are all sub-categorized like this 5B1 5B2 5B3 5B4

why cree show xp-l luminous more than xp-l hi in their first sheet

but in publicities they say xp-l hi have double in performance and luminous instead of xp-l

this is rather xp-l put 1226 lumen and xp-l hi put 1095 lumen in 10 watt consume

it is a little doubtful in their speech

which we belief to the sheet or the publicities?

candela value is different which they refer as double perfomance, not lumen value

tell me how it calculate

Simply put in the same optic system the XP-L HI will throw farther than XP-L HD.

I'd have to order some Nichia's again for this, but I'd be alright doing that. But is it not easier ordering the Nichia leds yourself at leds.de? They take Paypal, I just would not know how much the shipping is to the States.

Got my shipping notice.

My shipment of high-intensity XPLs should arrive Wednesday. I ordered six each of 4000k and 5000k. No idea the tint bin … just the first 4000k and 5000k listed on the Mouser website.

I plan to try them in small triples and zoomies.

I should see 12 of the 5700K tomorrow, they go immediately into my M43. (already have 10 brand new 10507’s standing by)

I was told by Nichia that the 219C won’t be ready til August.
