For Mafo’s issue, firstly I wish to apologize for any inconvenience caused on GearBest’s behalf. We are supposed to solve this problem for Mafo last few months ago. Secondly, I also hope that it can be clear that GearBest customer service has been taking actions to solve it even though some misunderstandings in the two reshipment. This effort can’t be ignored.

GearBest is not perfect. You are welcomed to give feedback to support.gearbest.com. It is always trying to improve its service with continuous problem-solving and customers’ feedback.

GearBest will be better with the joint efforts of you customers and GearBest. :slight_smile:

I have a similar problem still running.

after two months of paying, i got nothing. I payed for trackable shipping, but GB ships it without tracking. nothing received. I opened a ticket but the only answer i get was “check postoffice or customs”. this answer cames two or three times. no word of refund or replacement. since i escaladed this to paypal there is no communication in the ticketform anymore.

Wow, Gearbest is showing their incompetence in many ways lately! I just learned that the DQG Hobi, for which there is an on-going group buy currently, just went on sale for a lower price than the group buy coupon code gives! And, if you apply the coupon, it reverts back to the higher price! In other words, the coupon can’t be stacked on top of the sale price discount. What were they thinking? If they were that desperate to get rid of the Hobi’s why didn’t they give us a better price in the group buy?

I’m having a nightmare with Gearbest as well.
I used to find them good but lately they have been very poor.
I currently have 3 tickets open relating to unshipped orders, missing parts from orders and incorrect goods being sent.
Here’s a little excerpt from a ticket I opened concerning an Olight S30 I purchased:

I’ve spent a lot of money with Gearbest but I think my hard earned $$$’s will be going to Banggood in future.

Here lately, I’ve found myself spending a few dollars more and buying from US sellers. Seems to cut out wait time and the possibility of screw ups.

ABsolutely!! Banggood screwed up TWO of my orders in the past few months. Now, I only let them send me free lights for review, because I don’t want to pay for their errors. It does not matter who you use overseas, sooner or later they will mess up your order, or not ship because they do not have stock. None of them “have stock”. They are just resellers. They carry nothing. They drop ship from other sellers. Do we think anyone really carries the thousands and thousands of items they show on their websites? Really? Just be informed before you buy. There is always a risk that you will get junk. Always.

Maybe, I’ve had problems with them before but so far I’ve found their CS to be a notch above GB’s. I’ve also written unfavorable reviews about products I’ve found to be lacking on both sites, BG published but GB didn’t - I find that very underhand.
I’ll still buy from GB if they have a product that I want at a cheaper price than other Chinese vendors but the price difference I require to make a purchase from GB is getting wider each time GB F’s up or ignores my tickets.

Yep - much better CS than I’m getting from GB at the moment.

My experience with BG is terrible. I’ve wasted time and money. However, for now, with GB it is better.

yeeah! 8 months and much work later… I have received the flashlight!! Today I have received all items again (well… all all no, the box hasn’t the adapter plug US-EU but this is not problem.

Well… I must to say that I will never buy to Gearbest more, I know that I have resolve all but any customer should to have all this stupids problems.

I bet you got a aluminum pill and rings instead of brass. Also driver will have cheap and weak spring and your XM-L2 4C neutral white tint will be a 1A cool white.

Simon said there were knock-off Convoys out there and it looks like Gearbest now sells them.

Notice how the Samsung 25F batteries don’t say Samsung anywhere in the product description? Only on the pictures does it say Samsung. Heck, DX sells the Samsung wraps so that is a big clue right there.

Received my GearBest S2+ knock-off today…and to add insult to injury…only an XM-L!

Skytrooper, I.C.Bacon - That’s a shame. I received a red 4C S2+ from GB a few weeks ago and it’s definitely genuine - GB’s supplier must have furnished them with a dodgy batch - they need to sort it out quickly. The red has become one of my favourite lights, I absolutely love the tint.

You’ll see from a few posts ago I had my problems with GB - so much so I’d decided not to deal with them again. I’m happy to say that Gina stepped in and all my outstanding problems have been resolved. It’s a shame that GB’s customer services were not able to do this without Gina’s intervention but it’s good to know there is a contact to approach if CS is giving you the run around.
GB should give Gina a raise - I’ve already spent over $70 with them since Gina looked into my issues - that’s $70 more than I would have ever spent with them again without her help.
