Test/Review of Windyfire IMR26650 3500mAh (Blue)

No. They are probably IMR chemistry, i.e. LiMn.

Hi HKJ,

I got this directly from the WindyFire website. Assuming you are correct, it’s amazing the manufacturer mis-labled their own product.

Brand /model
Windyfire
Tpye of Battery
LIFePo4 26650/3500mAh

They must have mislabelled it. It is definitely not LiFePo4.

Earth Windyfire - one of my favourite bands of all time.

If we thought there wouldn’t be yet another xxxfire, out comes Windyfire! Surely people can come up with unique names.

Having said that the performance comes up well in your review. Thanks again HKJ for the review.

Thanks for the review. I have two of their 14500s coming.

Thanks HKJ and Richie

yes our Web site personnel have mistake ,the windyfire 26650 3500mAh is not LIFePo4 battery ,it is Li-Mn battery ,the voltage is 3.7v(LIFePo4 Voltage is 3.3V) .

Thank you for correcting and reviews,

thanks HKJ hard work .

sorry ,Richie ,you are right ,our company have mistake ,we will revise it as Li-Mn battery.

Thank you for verifying that and correcting the Web page, and nice to have you here on BLF Linda.

Hi ,Friend ,I am happy to talk with you here .

thanks your message ,If you have any question about the windyfire battery ,please leave message on the forum .i will reply you ASAP.

Thanks for the review HKJ.

You will like them. I bought 2 from Mt. Elec. for my Modded Minicree[Sipik]. They provide plenty of output[~700 lumens/80Kcd] and decent run time.

Hi wolfdog1226 ,nice to meet you here.
may i ask you one question ,Based on my experience, the minicree flashlight Conventional drive current is generally 0.5A,windyfire 14500 battery the discharge is 10A,the li-ion 14500 Usually have 2-4A discharge ,so the IMR 14500 and the li-ion 14500 all can Can meet the driving current ,In theory is the same output, I do not know how is the Real world ,
wolfdog1226 ,do you have some experience.

Thanks for the great review!

Where can I get these?

For a stock light you’d be correct but some of us have modified lights that run on a 14500 and pull over 5 amps.

Thanks friend ,i know.Thank you for sharing your experience. If the MINI CREEE Flashlight need 5AMPS,The flashlight Whether it will be hot ?

Hi friend,In the United States, we have an agent.you can get from him.their website is http://www.mtnelectronics.com

It’ll get hot after running for a bit, but there’s nothing like pulling out a tiny AA sized light and having huge output for the 30 seconds at a time you need it.

thanks you .Different purposes for flashlight ,so need battery have parameters ,the flashlight some time need light more time ,or some time need More bright .Before i know most people only need flashlight need light more time ,i do not know flashlight need IMR Battery, our company IMR Battery most use for Electronic cigarette.
thanks you information,Thank you for communication.

I’ve used your Windyfire 14500 IMR’s and they are great. I’ll be watching as more sizes of your batteries become readily available and tested by HKJ, and won’t hesitate to buy more.

Notrice I said “Modded”,it is a modified light by Vinh Nguyen. ~ 700 lumens/80Kcd w/ an XPG2 PDTc [dedomed] single mode direct drive.

I have a question for you! How come an order seems to have to be reviewed before i can find out about shipping? I use efest/K’Power/LG/SONY/Samsung IMR Batteries for my Modded M2Xvn . I was going to try one of yours and was not able to order???
