(gb=closed) Only 50 lights were delivered and sent out, *BLF special* Romisen 365/400nm 2xUV SSflashlight, gb with Tinywind

I’d like one please.

Certainly up for a GB from djozz. One, please.

Thanks for the realistic, if understated, write-up.

A small risk for potentially a fun little light.

She who must be obeyed told me I need one

In for one.

Cheers David

200 is a whole lotta lights…

Put me down for one! :crown:

I’m down for one too. Price is good, and the 2 LEDs with that split reflector in a small package is too cool to pass up.

I have no experience with tinywind, is shipping included?

[Edit: Hey, maybe you didn’t notice, I said ‘I’m in for one’, too?]

i’m in for 1

Yup.

I do think 200 is a lot to ask for and it might help people decide if someone can get hold of the UV LED sample, or even some photos from the manufacturer.

I’m in for 1.
Thanks for the effort!

It looks like the UV emitter I got from ebay/china for 4.99 shipped.

Put it on a noctigon, and it’s decent enough. I’ve used it to cure Norland in a couple of minutes.

I’ve had this pic on another thread, but I’ll put it here since it actually appears to be the same emitter.

Unfortunately I have no means of doing any testing on it.

I’m in for one

I will ask Saphire if she (he? you never know..) could ask Romisen which led they are going to use, with picture.

In the meantime, I just found by accident a reserved dedicated page for this light on the Tinywind site, with 'sold out', they do the same trick as banggood with the X6 group buy. Mind that the pictures are old pictures from the 400nm version, so it gives no clue about the led.

She who must be obeyed just said “make it two” :~

Soooo… you had better do as she says and alter mine to two (that is two total)

Cheers David

Edit, I will be swapping the led’s over to make one twin white light and one twin uv light, shmbo just really likes the host and does not want uv.

Can someone explain why 365nm is a better UV led (than the 400) and what are some common uses for it?

Either way throw me down for 1 please!

365nm is not better, it is different. It shows the fluorescent markers in banknotes much better without the purple glow. But 400nm leds are more efficient and will show glowinthedark stuff brighter. 400nm is said to be better for organics stains as well (blood, urine). 365nm is more dangerous because your eyes can not see it at all, while your eyes have a low sensitivity for 400nm.

I’ll take one please.

mattlward +1

Same for me!

I'd be very disappointed if it wasn't 365nm, and surprised too because I have the impression that it is understood well that that is the selling point of this group buy.
