US GB, LD-2 driver by led4power. One member hasn't received theirs yet, anyone else? Please chime in.

No need to do anything with any of mine either(well, besides ship them!). Looking forward to getting these behind some LEDs! Thank you so much for going through all the trouble to put this together for us!

Sparkey is right! Thanks Scott for all your effort. I bet this group buy wasnā€™t near as easy as you thought going into it. These things seldom are. However, those drivers look so SWEET! Led4power is a genius with manufacturing skills too boot! The BLF is always growing, with the likes of you two and many others. Iā€™m off to meet some friends, canā€™t wait to show those boys some state-of-art flashlights. Iā€™m sure they will be requesting a few lights, good thing the drivers are coming!

All packed up and will go out in the mail tomorrow. A few left for sale at gb price.

Iā€™m still interested if Iā€™m at the top of your double secret list.

Ended up only keeping 3. Send the wolves after Dbcstm and jubeldum, they have many.

Wolves will be shot at the perimeter and fed to the kittens. :stuck_out_tongue:

The old saying holds true here, money talks and bullschit walks. Drivers! Drivers! Put your money on the table for the worlds bestest new drivers! Order up!

(I donā€™t NEED 10, but there was an open window on a good opportunity, ya know?) Still thinking of framing a panel of 4 and hanging em on the wall. not like they wouldnā€™t be there if/when neededā€¦ right?

Oh great, NOW we got scalpers! :open_mouth:

Hey, if they can hawk tickets to a gameā€¦

I was actually thinking in terms of hearing the call, such that I pounced on 10 while the getting was good. I know when the LD-1 came out I didnā€™t buy but like 4 and they were gone almost immediately, used up in several different ways and now I donā€™t even remember which lights have em! (which means I havenā€™t been rotating my play time lately huh? lol)

Sure! Thatā€™s what you meant.

This was an excercise in pulling teeth. That anyone would buy extras for the overwhelming pleasure of pulling more is an idea beyond my comprehension. But thank god he created masochists too. Pain/pleasure, trash/treasure, something profound in there Iā€™m sure of it. :weary: :money_mouth_face:

Fifty Shades of Rufusbduck?

A catharsis for past misdeeds.

Standing in line at the PO with 27 mailers and one box.

I bet that priority mail box is going to Dales.

Yup.

Escaped at last. Fwiw, all needed non-machinable and some needed extra ounce as well but thanks to the more than sufficient generosity of you guys it was all covered.

Thanks for all your efforts on the group buy. The last days of waiting are the days that seem to be the longestā€¦

I may have the drivers before my Int-oudoor and Mountain order arrives.

Not if Dale has any say in it. I spent the money on insurance for that box instead of speed. There are two Bay Area boys and a couple more from SoCal as well as Oregon and Washington. I hope to hear the first notices possibly tomorrow and no later than Wednesday and then more on Thursday. After that should be a steady stream. A few might take a week or more if the postal system runs to form.

For the record, I was able to solder the moon kit with a fine tip iron and mag lamp. Easiest to pretin one pad for each part, then anchor to that pad first then solder the other pad(s). The fine tip I use is maybe 1.5 mm with a 45^ oval surface. Similar to larger 3mm beveled oval tip I use for soldering mcpcb wires.
