Not if Dale has any say in it. I spent the money on insurance for that box instead of speed. There are two Bay Area boys and a couple more from SoCal as well as Oregon and Washington. I hope to hear the first notices possibly tomorrow and no later than Wednesday and then more on Thursday. After that should be a steady stream. A few might take a week or more if the postal system runs to form.
For the record, I was able to solder the moon kit with a fine tip iron and mag lamp. Easiest to pretin one pad for each part, then anchor to that pad first then solder the other pad(s). The fine tip I use is maybe 1.5 mm with a 45^ oval surface. Similar to larger 3mm beveled oval tip I use for soldering mcpcb wires.
I just realized (having read the info thread again) that the 2S operation requires extra components that I don’t have and didn’t order. So, I guess I will be using both of my drivers as 1S only! 
Or, maybe in the future I’ll have a stash of parts lying around like some of you guys, and I’ll be able to change one or both of them to 2S at that future date. By which time, the LD-5 XTREME Edition will be out on the market! 
I’m sure those parts can be sourced. I have extras of all the moon kits and 2-cell resistors just not the IC’s for 2-cells.
6V kit parts:
IC is opamp MCP6H01 or similar,in SC-70 (SOT-323-5) package,resistors are two 750kOhm 0402 size,value isn't critical at all,100k-1M is fine,but they must be identical.

Thanks. I know the parts can be sourced, and probably for cheap. I’m not too worried about it. I was just thinking about how RBD offered to solder pads for either one or two cell operation, and I told him to keep it open for me to choose later, when actually there is no choose later (without buying and soldering more components). I could have just as well told him to go ahead and solder them. Soldering the pads is no big deal either. I’m just going “Doh!” over the fact that I missed that detail. Like I said, one of these days I’ll have pieces parts lying around and it won’t matter anyway. But, I only ordered two drivers, and I don’t even have a definite use for either of them yet. So, I will simply keep it in mind that they are 1S only when I do come up with a use for them. :bigsmile:
I briefly considered just soldering pad 1 on all the orders for which no 2s parts were included and pad 2 on all the boards that had the 2s components installed. But only briefly.

At my house, “Daddy” (that’s me) can’t hardly remember his own stuff, much less take care of everybody else’s too!
You DO realize, don’t you, that the small flat rate box is a 2 Day Priority mail by default? That’s why I use it all the time, I can drop that small box at the PO on Saturday and Monday it’ll be at it’s destination. On a rare occasion it takes 3 days, maybe once in 20 times.
I’ll double check the tracking number, but it should be here pronto. :bigsmile:
Edit: Tracking says tomorrow (Thurs the 9th). They played with it an extra day in SanFran.
