US GB, LD-2 driver by led4power. One member hasn't received theirs yet, anyone else? Please chime in.

6V kit parts:

IC is opamp MCP6H01 or similar,in SC-70 (SOT-323-5) package,resistors are two 750kOhm 0402 size,value isn't critical at all,100k-1M is fine,but they must be identical.

Rufusbduck and led4power,

Thanks. I know the parts can be sourced, and probably for cheap. I’m not too worried about it. I was just thinking about how RBD offered to solder pads for either one or two cell operation, and I told him to keep it open for me to choose later, when actually there is no choose later (without buying and soldering more components). I could have just as well told him to go ahead and solder them. Soldering the pads is no big deal either. I’m just going “Doh!” over the fact that I missed that detail. Like I said, one of these days I’ll have pieces parts lying around and it won’t matter anyway. But, I only ordered two drivers, and I don’t even have a definite use for either of them yet. So, I will simply keep it in mind that they are 1S only when I do come up with a use for them.

I briefly considered just soldering pad 1 on all the orders for which no 2s parts were included and pad 2 on all the boards that had the 2s components installed. But only briefly.

Yeah, that prolly woulda helped summa us brainless folks… :weary:

Well, at least you offered to do the soldering at all. You can’t be everybody’s momma!

You mean Daddy.

Thank you very much!

I appreciate all your work managing this GB effort for us.

Thank me when you get the goods. ’Til then I’m still on probation. :davie: If any orders come up short or missing I’ll have to reorder from l4p so cross them digits.

At my house, “Daddy” (that’s me) can’t hardly remember his own stuff, much less take care of everybody else’s too! :stuck_out_tongue:

You DO realize, don’t you, that the small flat rate box is a 2 Day Priority mail by default? That’s why I use it all the time, I can drop that small box at the PO on Saturday and Monday it’ll be at it’s destination. On a rare occasion it takes 3 days, maybe once in 20 times.

I’ll double check the tracking number, but it should be here pronto.

Edit: Tracking says tomorrow (Thurs the 9th). They played with it an extra day in SanFran.

Got mine today. Thank you Scott! Must have taken hours to do all these for the people. Love the way you marked everything. Brilliant packaging too!!

Just a suggestion for those with multiple drivers and parts: leave the parts on the card and just slit the tape to remove one component at a time as you’re ready to solder it, then reclose the tape.

where’s a good place to buy good springs ??
and wires ?

OK, then: thank you!

Hah, figured you’d be one of the first. Springs and wires at Mtnelectronics. RMM is a member here with his own sales thread. Otherwise, FastTech.

Got a nice little box full of goodies today!

Thanks Scott, well done! Now if I can just figure all this mess out…

The two resistors for the 6V option are the same value. Too small, and too small too.

Need a microscope small.

I need my 10x mag lamp to read the values.

That’s why I’m having Dale do my drivers because I can’t see for crap. Change the resisters to see how much my XHPs can take.

I just received my package today, thanks again!
