Review request for HKJ [Rechargeable Batteries]

The reason it seemed like the same question to you is because you could NOT grasp what I was saying about the specs in HKJā€™s review of AWT and the FACT that the cell information was left blank! That was my whole point that I had to repeat over and over!

Maybe itā€™s time to review the whole manufacturing process?

Where is the production line done?

What machinery is used?

lol,( sorry, but i can not helping laughing) Thanks, Hank, you are smart!!! See your man fights with batteries is a great pleasure on me. ( not mean to offend) cuz you guys cares about battery, cares about the Chinese factory made or re-wrapped. I am here assure you guys, the AWT is AWT !!!
Poor Chinese AWT workers in produce lineā€¦ā€¦.If they know the AWT battery they produced be seem as the LG , Samsung, Panasonic or Sony, what will they think? happy or sad ? I guess they will say the same as i do, : AWT IS AWT !!! Their hands become black as they touch the battery. they hear that noise made by the machine. some of them search the best solution to improve the capacity with a little high ampers. to test the battery themself. though, they can not vape or use the expensive flashlight. but , they made their effort, and did their good job.

Grace, it is good to see that you enjoy our fiery discussion on batteries. To be honest i was concerned you would find it off putting, so i am glad you find it enjoyable

And i would hope your workers in the produce line, would be proud that they are competing with the big manufacturers in performance & that is what leads to these speculations.

What you could do to easier present the performance of your batteries, is to publish a discharge curve with different amp loads like HKJ does.
Because only the max amp rating & mha rating, isnā€™t enough to really know the performance of a battery in various applications & under various loads.

This is actually not reassuring. I hope you will post pictures of the operation, and the quality control test results that you make each time someone changes anything about the production line. Yes, you can increase capacity by making small changes in material or construction. But capacity is a tradeoff for other important things you also want to know.

You get better ā€œcapacityā€ by substituting different separator material, for example ā€”- but that has been the cause of a number of fires because someone in a factory substituted ā€œalmost the sameā€ material, and it took a few years before it broke down and the chemicals mixed. That was in the news several years ago.

Poor Chinese workers, indeed.
Sounds like you are getting the bad side of capitalism, just like every other country has at one time.

US history you may find applies: ā€œDonā€™t mourn. Organize.ā€

hahahaha! Nice to see that there are people who are so Trustworthy with Word of mouth information that is unverified!!

er, what? I know China is a long way off for most of us, but letā€™s say they have a street address for their factory ā€”- that sort of thing that can be verified.
Would that help?

If theyā€™re really being as careless about handling lithium-ion chemicals as the ā€œblack handsā€ story suggests, eventually we could find it by looking for the plume of smoke and following the ambulances. But I hope that was exaggeration and theyā€™re a legitimate producer of good batteries.

Time will tell.

Would you mind taking a look at the new Olight 3600mah 18650?

Interesting, i guess those can only be based on the panasonic NCR18650G 3600mAh cell.
Crazy expensive thoughā€¦ā€¦

Not at the current time, I have way to much in queue.

I have put them on my low priority list, if they are still available when my queue is running low I will get them.

Banggood has started selling
LG18650HG2 3000mAh 20A
Sanyo NCR18650GA 3500mAh 10A
Samsung NR18650 30Q 3000mah 15A You hadnā€™t added a buy link for these (or the LG HG2) so I am not sure if you still needed a seller for these. They call them Keeppower but the picture shows the Samsung cell,
LG INR18650 MH1 3200mAh
HETER 26650 4500mAh that was discussed earlier in this thread.
Sony US18650VTC5 these have started to show up at most trustworthy sellers now, i guess the supply problem is solved? or they are all fakesā€¦ā€¦time will tell.

Good to see bangood picking up there cell game, soon we will hopefully be able to always count on them to sell the latest & greatest cells around, for reasonable with free shipping prices

Some cell manufacturers i hope they start selling cells from are Efest, Windyfire & AWT.

+1 on all, except the HETER i have no interestā€¦.

the new 3KmAh roundup would be very very important, comparison below the 15A mark could be nice. all those single applications, where you have a single cell, maybe with a triple led in parallel and you donā€™t want the cell to dry out in few mins

also canā€™t wait to see how BAD the NL147 will performā€¦my sample itā€™s the worst cell I ever paid forā€¦and was relatively EXPENSIVE

I am sorry, but as far as i understand it that was the old kind of VTC5 fakes. Nowadays trustworthy shops are starting to stock what seems to be genuine performing cells.
At least from various reviews i have read on these recently stocked VTC5ā€™s that seems to show up everywhere.

But with all the fakes in the past when there was a drought on them i am extremely hesitant to buy some unfortunately.

Fasttech is selling the Samsung INR18650-30Q also.

But i have always gotten much faster shipping to Sweden with Banggood

Some more sellers links this time from Gearbest, who also seem to have up there effort on batteries lately, although they still sell Ultrafires :Sp I will always be extra suspicious at any new cell they pick up until they stop sell those fakers :expressionless:

Olight 3600mAh 18650 Protected

Samsung INR18650 3000mha 30Q

Sanyo NCR18650GA 3500mah

ā€œDQG 320mAh 3.7V 10440ā€http://www.gearbest.com/batteries/pp_187025.html I think these are new. I canā€™t find any tests or reviews of these anywhere. I always look for that 10440 that will beat the Efest IMR10440

AWT IMR 2600mAh 40A I think this is the newest high drain cell. Good to see some more sellers picking up the AWTā€™s.
EDIT FAKES It seems i was right to be suspicious about Gearbestā€™s honesty, I missed it at first, but Billy X pointed out later in the thread that Gearbest actually admits that they sell fake AWT cellsā€¦ā€¦ā€¦

Nitecore Ni14500A 3.7V IMR 650mAh 6.5A
Another 14500
Skilhunt BL - 109 3.7V 900mAh Protected

TrustFire 950mAh 10A 14650 3.7V IMR An interesting size could possible fit in some 14500 lights if we donā€™t use springs & can move the driver or drill out the bottom, for some extra capacity. If they are good that is  At least the 32650 Trusfireā€™s are good, that always ups the chance these could be one of those rare *fire cells that are nice.

reveal his findings ,all this speculation is just that speculation there have been a few good results and I have communicated with Grace she appear to be a very informed knowledgeable woman who contrary to other Chinese vendor ,a he did not spam any forums or try any flash sales she sent her companies batteries directly to HKJ for an honest review not jus hyped up uninformed sales rep trying to push their companies product. What is the worst that could happen your right they are rewrapped and you get bragging rights to say I told you so if your wrong we as a community get some superior qaulity batteries. By the way Grace does know her product and she has pride in her product

For the AWT 2600Ah IMR cell,Gearbest states,in the questions and answers, that they are not genuine AWT cells.I would stay clear for the moment.Iā€™m glad they were honest about it though.here

Thanks Billy, i missed that. I removed the link to them.
I was right to be suspicious of themā€¦ā€¦

I refuse to buy cells from Gearbest until they stop selling fakes.
And what is worse is they knowingly damages AWT reputation & their own by selling fakesā€¦ā€¦

Just having a look at fasttech, they newly listed some protected Sanyos:

2600mah: https://www.fasttech.com/products/1420/10010486/2741100

3400mah: https://www.fasttech.com/products/1420/10010486/2740902

Unfortunately i donā€™t think you can buy them in pairs.

Interesting because theyā€™re decently priced and arenā€™t oversized.
