Yes, you are masochists! But these will be epic lights!
*ever since the Romisen RC-G2 (which is a badly made light in a great form factor) I'm waiting for a compact 14500 thrower, this is wonderful! (will the driver of the K6 be 15mm or 17mm, just curious?)
*I'm not sure what I want now: copper is very attractive but IMO too heavy for the 14500 light, it spoils the usefulness (I see this proposed K6 as an extremely useful EDC light), and stainless steel sounds unsuitable for a hotrod light like the BLF-X6. So I guess I want the aluminium set but that is not nearly as exclusive.......but: how about considering the 'Texas Poker' design, with the finned copper pill section, for the X6 in the SS body, for the K6 in an aluminium body? (please picture here the copper insert in a flat black anodised aluminium body, exclusiveness combined with extreme function )
I’m interested but can you guys look into having a silicone cigar grip-ring added to the full-size X6? I find my SF L2T more comfortable to hold than my BLF X6 because of it.

For now: one aluminium set please
You guys are flashlight heroes!
Your idea is the perfect BLF X6-SE v2. H)
Copper pill section and aluminum for the lens cap, tube and tail cap. If we have to have a stainless steel version, it has to have the copper pill section or it’s going to be worthless to use with a FET because of the heat. And two screws instead of one.
After seeing pics, I may change the WW to the Premium set.
I was able to acquire a NW from the first run, it is my favorite light with its beam pattern and feel. Now if I could only make myself actually carry it!
Four copper/SS sets. Four aluminum sets. 1 cw set of each. 1 ww set of each. 2 nw sets of each. Thanks for organizing.
Would much prefer a full size copper host or a full size head on a AA body. Also see if they can work on getting their tolerances tighter on the threads as in closer to Solarforce quality. Pretty much like everything about the original except the looseness in the tail and head threads.
Interesting suggestions, SL. The team shall discuss. 8)

Krono, how epic would it be if we could get them to do the SS version with the finned head portion in Cu like djozz suggested, this would solve the heat issues and would look exotic as hell!
Effectively something like this… the Solarforce M8 with a copper pill by Bucket…

That would be incredible! We will ask!

Perhaps the cost difference could be mostly balanced out by having the smaller K6 also in SS with the Cu finned light engine area. This would use less copper for the smaller light, only where it’s really needed, and then include copper in the larger SS X6.
They’d both then be SS and Cu, matching “His and Hers” lights if you will! Sitting in the case as a gift, they’d be a jaw dropping pair of lights to be sure!
Edit: Optionally, the SS could be dropped and Aluminum used with the copper pill, polishing the alum and using a clear or non dyed Ano. Cheaper body materials, lighter weight, Cu only where it’s needed and still a shiny bling bling look.

Wow, another group-buy and we still have two pending to look forward to.
Please count me in for a set 1x Copper & 1x Stainless.
Tints TBC when you know options.
Ta for all the efforts. V.excited.

EDIT: Okay and a pair of the Aluminium also please.
Only problem is that these XP-Ls together might make most of my other lights obsolete...

Which gets really boring. – Tuomas Holopainen, 2015
I can’t wait! (SS/Cu, NW, 1) and (Al, NW, 2)
First set:
Aluminum WW x 1
Aluminum NW x 1
After seeing pics, I may change the WW to the Premium set.
I was able to acquire a NW from the first run, it is my favorite light with its beam pattern and feel. Now if I could only make myself actually carry it!
EDC rotation:
FW1A, LH351D 4000k (second favorite)
FW3A, LH351D 3500k
FW3A, SST20 FD2 4000k
FW3A, Nichia 4000k sw40 r9080 (favorite light!)
FW3A, Cree XP-L Hi 5A3
Emisar D4V2, SST20 4000k
S2+, XM-L2 T6 4C
I’m very interested in one SS/Cu set!
Depending on the actual chosen tints, it will be NW or WW, preferably in the 4D-5A range!
[edit]
Even better would be a HighCRI selection (at least) for the Cu-Edc, something like the Nichia 219C hotrod driven.
Aloha, Uli
Oh, now that would be nice 219C

I will see what we can do. I don’t want to add to the cost too much to keep it affordable.

Not yet. This light only exists in our minds. Perhaps we can get some design renderings soon.

Then the SS version and the Cu version would match, with copper for the light engine all the way around… a necessity for the FET driver.

one Aluminum (Al) set.
NW , XP-L HI.
Some interesting suggestions on improving this setup! We will discuss them all and see what we can do.
Keep in mind that these lights will be Serial Numbered…so… the sooner you get you name on the list, the lower the S/N you will receive!
